Damn, that's a shame. Because I like the Red a lot more than the Blue - I like the 'samurai' look of the Red over the 'techno' look of the Blue.

or.. Gatts-dam! I love the Red frame. It's the next on my shopping list. I find that while you can get away without painting MG kits, the 1/100 HG's really benefit from a lick of paint. I've been going back and painting all the kits I was too lazy to paint when I built them and it's worth the effort.

OK.. In episode 3 of Magical Shopping Arcade Aneobashi (Intergalactic Shopping Center episode) , it appropriates 'fight' music from which well known sci-fi anime?

Andy's a mega-rich cowboy who works on his family ranch.. but by the end he looks more interested in becoming a samurai.

WOW! That's a great poster. Is it official ep 3 publicity or a very good fan job? -
I hate to stand out by myself here, but I can't stand his films!! Obvious plot twists, super-lame 'surprise endings', all hype and no substance. To me his films are like a move version of the 'Emperor's New Clothes'. 'Unwatchable' is on my top 5 worst films of all time. I just couldn't; believe how unbelievable awful the ending was. My mouth was gaping when the credits rolled.

I downloaded the trailer from Kazaa. Amazing CGI. If the film's as half as good as I hope it'll be I will be sitting in the theatre wiping drool off my chin. Finally Appleseed gets a good shot at animation, after the poor OAV.

Thanks Renato! Here's the pics if anyone wants to compare. I really like the mod. In fact, it's changed my mind completely about buying Sideswipe. Before After I too don't think much of Tracks, but if they bring out the blue variant I will get one (Damn my nostalic side!) Meister is what I am really excited about. -
slobber! Looks great! I love you... I mean it.. too!

Those of you who have Deadend, does he look better than Sideswipe in robot mode? I passed on Sideswipe cos I thought he looked awful in robot. 2nd question! Anyone who has done the mod (to make the back hood as his chest)on Sideswipe can you post a pic? -
But 'mecha of the week' sells a hellavalot more toys & models! But Gundam's just like Transformers: the anime is there to advertise the products. Although if Macross was as big as gundam we'd see vf mecha of the week too. And thinking about the lack of Macross content in Dengeki & HJ: It must mean that Yamato hasn't moved forward in developing the 1/100 Zero toys and Monster.. ?

From what I've heard, Mike Judge's new film sounds a lot like Futurama - an average joe gets put into hibernation for 1000 years and when he wake up, finds that the human race's IQ has dropped thru the floor, making him the smartest man on earh. stars Luke Wilson (Old School, Royal Tenenbaums, etc)

Garada's cool.. not so sure about Doublas. I'm interested to see what gimmicks & extras these ones will have.

G'day from another aussie! Take my advice, look overseas for all your anime toy shopping. You'll save heaps. Find a good dealer in Hong Kong or Singapore and buy there. That way you get cheap prices and the shipping distance isn't too far. There's a few sellers on these boards from those parts that are very reliable and great to deal with. Forget about buying in sydney. There are a couple of places in the city that you can buy stuff from. But they are so overpriced it's only worth going there to have a laugh. But, if you wanna check em out try: Cartoon Gallery, in the Imperial Arcade, Pitt st city. Anime Zone - Market City shopping centret, Haymarket Hobbyco - (gundam kits mostly) Mid City Centre in Pitt st and ther's another one on the lower ground floor of a shopping arcade along pitt st, about halfway between park st and market st. On the left hand side if you're walking towards market st.

Rosario and everyone, Thank you for your posts. Everything Rosario said was exactly true. My wife had just turned 30 as well. Her pregnancy was difficult because she was diabetic. Things were just coming to normal with our baby, but Heather was going to need a kidney transplant due to the stress on her body from the pregnancy. But she never complained. If you've ever seen the movie Steel Magnolias, it's the same scenario. Her brother was going to give her one of his. She was driving home from a blood test when the accident happened. That is what breaks my heart the most is that she won't get to see her little girl, whom she sacrificed so much for, grow up. She was the kindest, strongest woman I have ever known. I knew I had a great woman but I never truly appreciated that until now. Greg My dad was the same - he died when I was three and he said the same thing to my mom. But it's not all bad - I like to think I'm a lot like him in personality and a lot of his friends say I'm just like him. So in a way I keep him with me. Sometimes I feel sad when big things happen in my life and he's not there to see it - like when I got married last year - but I also like to think he's watching from a better place. Excuse my ramblings.. I think my point is that your wife will still be there inside your little girl as she grows up.

IF I buy this the first thing I'm gonna do is take a pair of scissors and snip the upper half off the front landing gear. It's like a flagpole its so long.
