I know this is about 40 pages out of date, but I finally got BT Sideswipe and did the mod. I agree he looks 10 times better. I was a bit scared when I was cutting out the bit to make the boot swing up more.. I had visions of cutting off the whole thing.

True, but neither did ESB have a space battle. "Oh sure" you cry, "but it had an asteroid chase." And so did AOTC, which also featured a land battle much larger than the little skirmish on Hoth. you are right, the format does mimic the original trilogy. Space battles in the first and third, and set piece land battle in the 2nd. I dunno.. I guess the space battle in ep 1 felt like a skirmish, and the way anakin accidentally blew up the trade federation base thingie was ghey. I'm looking forward to another thick-as-flies space battle like in ROTJ. And the sonic charges are my favourite moment from the new films!

It looks like Maschinen Krieger, an early 80's photo series that ran in Hobby Japan which has recently spawned a lot of toys. I got mine yesterday for $50. As an early poster said it looks a LOT better with the decals. So much so, when I first platyed with it I was like, hmmmm... and after decals I'm like, HMMMM! The weight is nice and heavy and it fits in nicely with a shelf of 1/60's, in fighter mode they are exactly the same length. Yes, the QC sux. loose arm, the leg parts are fitted together sloppily and there are some deep scratch marks on one of the knees but still a nice toy. As said many times, not worth a cent over 50 bucks. More like 40.

Well, at $219 you'd make your money back if you wanted to re-sell them. For some reason they seem to be especially popular in the UK, so the next time you go home to visit the parents you can take them with you and make a profit! They are truly beautiful to look at, but I've never touched one myself. both have removable panels etc and nice display stands. Now the REAL question is, what will your wife say to blowing US$438???

its nice but it seems to be very robot inside a car shell, the only car part that seems to be intergated as part of the robot is the shoulders/wheels, the rest is just panels hanging off yeah, that's been the general all round complaint everyone has with this one, me included. He's still crappy looking but at least he's blue! If they didn't bring out this version I'd be passing up on Tracks without a second thought.

I've been looking forward to this game being a Mospeada/N.G fan.. I'll still buy it. A friend of mine was seriously pissed that it wasn't cel shaded like Battlecry but I'm glad they went a different style. Tell me anyone who's played it.. does this game have the same play style as the Transformers game? (ie, speed around in vehicle mode, change into robot mode and shoot stuff)?

hehe, I'm watching Excel Saga at the moment, and even watching 2 episodes back to back threatens to destroy my sanity! And I like it. On the topic of weirdness overload, I just read the whole 174 (currently) episodes of the Gantz manga. There were some parts in it where I wondered if a seriously unstable individual with a desire for clock towers/postal offices would do if they read it.. ..nothing I'm sure, but it's got some damn twisted stuff. Great story though.
