  1. wow this is really big news! nice to finally see sth that will come out in the movie! thanks for the news CF18 hmm... armored vf-25 is still the best
  2. yup, i use them with mr color paints, and they are of the lacquer type. even a small dip of retarder does wonders!
  3. wow man that looks stunning! also, noticed u went for grey instead of red for the leg armor but man it looks good! probably better than if the leg armor was in red
  4. wow thats a daring custom! the reaction missles look a bit short/stubby for it though
  5. yeah! i've been using mr reatrder mild alot cos i dont have an airbrush and basically hand paint everything its really great! i am already at my 3rd bottle in 1 year
  6. yup u've finally got ur mr. mark setter! thats the same one i am using i hope it'll make ur life much easier now
  7. great job on the hands man! with almost everything coming together now, can really see the fruits of your hard work all the color choices are spot on, cant wait to see the majesty of ur completed vf-25s js one qs, did u paint the yellow missle covers? what type of yellow did u use for it? over here i've been hunting for yellow paint, but they are all of the gloss type, and i didnt want glossy missle covers...
  8. loved the 11B gunpod too the 11C gunpod is a bit errr...
  9. simply love the colors pf the 11C! me too. i loved the humble hero of SDF macross i hope in the future we will finally get the completion of the hikaru/misa storyline and hikaru piloted a vf-29 or sth like that
  10. keep going cowpeeler! ur work is looking good
  11. Ok, points taken i'd like to say, somehow the 1/60 DX vf-27 looks better than 1/72 model vf-27. partly due to the size of intakes at the chest of the DX seem to be more correct... i'm doing some comparisons now...
  12. nice work and keep the updates coming! the white stripes on top of ur blue missle cover is amazing man... ur seriously tempting me to buy another 25G + super packs the one i have now has so much bare plastic it cant even hold a candle to ur work lol
  13. ngee khiong js corrected his posting saying: "DX Chogokin VF-27γ Lucifer Brera's Unit - Sample display (Not VF100's mentioned last night)" so its not a VF100 after all..
  14. ngee khiong confirmed its a DX: "DX Chogokin VF-27γ Lucifer Brera's Unit - Sample display (Not VF100's mentioned last night)" my bad... congrats to all DX collectors
  15. well if thats the case and this is really the dx vf-27, then we all have a 1/60 vf-19 kai staring right in our faces as well...
  16. i think there's no way to ascertain whether it is a DX or not yet. despite the metal, gloss, landing gear hatches and DX hands that we think were seeing, i think u cant deny that the vf-19 kai in front of it looks to be the same scale. they are too close to each other in distance for their scale to be obscured (from 1/100 to 1/60 :S) if there already was a 1/60 kai tbr, MW would have known by now...
  17. pretty sure its a vf100 too as it definitely looks the same scale as the kai in the photo.. which has to be 1/100 scale too surely if we're gonna hav a 1/60 kai it'd be big news by now
  18. my God thanks for the great news! i'm a big fan of focker, and really looking forward to this release to pair up with my low vis hikky 1J
