A better question is what is the age of consent in the Macross universe? Minmay 15 turning 16, Mylene 14 turning 15, and my God, Mao 11 years old!! What do they have against the 18-30 year olds?

I would have to agree with Whispo. If it were not for ROBOTECH, many of us would not have been expossed to Macross at all. I understand there are purists out there who hate the very name, however the show has been off the air for years now so please let it rest.( If you do so, I promise not to complain about Macross 7 any more!)

I hate Macross Frontier because it will not have TWICE as many episodes as Macross 7, and that is just a CRIME!!!!

It's a good thing that he decided to change it otherwise we would end up with another Macross 7 love trangle(something I could do without).

I'm going to go with Ozma, Luca, and finally Berea. I don't think the body count will be too high because Macross doesn't typically go "kill crazy" when it comes to it's main characters. In Macross we had 2(I'm not counting the villians). In Macross 2 we had 1,Macross Plus there was 3, Macross 7 had 2, and Macross Zero had 0 (providing Shin did not die). I believe that Brera will probably kill Ozma and that Luca will die either just before or after he confesses his feelings for Nanase, while Brera will most likely sacrifice his life to save Ranka and Alto. One thought that just crossed my mind is that perhaps Luca's death would cause Nanase to join the SMS or NUNS; I can just see her in a military uniform.

I think you might be right about Brera nailing Ozma. That seems to have some sort "Gundam Irony"in it, however I don't believe that would "push Alto over the edge" because they do not have the same kind of relationship that Hikaru(Rick) and Roy had. They don't appear close at all, and his relationship with Ranka is still up in the air, so I do not think he would seek revenge for her sake. I have a feeling that Brera is going to have a heroic death, like maybe losing his life trying to save Ranka and Alto.

Ok, so that may explain Basara's attitude toward Mylene, I mean I never really got the feeling that he was interested in her romantically. As for Gamlin (if he had a brain in his head), should go after the bridge bunnies after all his commander dated both of them at the same time!!

I've liked Ranka over Sheryl from the start, however after episode 12 I NOW LOVE RANKA!!!

Soooo who did Mylene end up with? Did she get married to Basara or Gamilin, or did she stay single?

Can somebody tell me who is singing the DYRL song at the end of this episode? Is it Ranka or Sheryl?

Just to add my 2 cents, I believe that it is the original SDF-1; otherwise why would we care? If it is just another SDF then why the dramatic buildup? I believe, given the title of episode 13, that this is the final resting place of the SDF-1, and that Global was on some mission that we knew nothing about. I could be wrong, but it's sure gonna be fun watching to find out! Man, I haven't been this excited about Macross in years!!

Well if that's the case then Macross 7 might be worth watching again.
