Don't hold your breath, remember "Memory of Global". That title and the images of what we thought might have been the SDF-1, lead us to belive that there was some connection between that episode and Capt. Global of the original Macross. What did we get, an SDF that was named Global and that's all. "Goodbye Sister" could mean alot of things, not just the death of Ozma or Brera.

Do you really? I think that's the reason why I don't like Sheryl, is because of her design. I just can't place my finger on exactly what about her design that bothers me, but something does. Also, what happened to Nanase's fans? She only got 2 votes, and poor Klan has none. As for me, nothing has changed. RANKA!!!!!!

To come to Nanase defense, I don't think it's because she's clueless. She probably sees Luca as just a friend and not a potential boyfriend. Plus, given the fact that he has not exactly come across as the most manly of the trio (Alto, Michael, Luca), it places him in the "sidekick" role. Nanase's concern about Luca being able to handle combat without Alto and Michael seem to show more of a sisterly concern; perhaps she views him as a little brother. If Luca want to get anywhere with Nanase, then he'd better tell her how he feels, and fast before the steak and pineapple gets past around!!

Does any know exactly why after parenting 7 children Max and Millia split up? Are they offically divorced or just seperated?

Unless the series is going to make a dramatic change in direction, I can't see the point in changing it. The Macross TV series usually keeps the same openings and changes the endings, besides I like the Macross F opening.

And if they know it, I'm sure WB knows it as well; that's why I think a live action Robotech movie will probably be set during the Mospeada segment, with maybe Toby playing the part of Scott Benard.

Being a Robotech/Macross fan, I would like to see a live action version of Robotech. The supposed live action Macross movie intitled: "Final Outpost Earth" was never made, and I think if HG and Big West could possibly come to a cease fire; they could make a movie that could be entitled Robotech in the US and Macross in Japan...Uh I just woke up! I was a nice dream, however I don't think it will happen. The Robotech movie we'll get probably will go the same way as the Sentinals and Shadow Chronicles:changing the charcter and mecha in order not to show any Macross influence. I would not get my hopes high on the Robotech movie having any resemblence to the Robotech we know and love. Robotech is over, do you remember love?

I think it's the same reason that up unitil episode 14, the VF-171s couldn't hit the broad side of a barn while the VF-25s were cleaning the Vajra's clocks. The SMS are obiviously the heroes of Macross Frontier thus their pilots and their mecha are the stars of the show while the NUNS are for all purposes Cannon fodder, and we probably won't see the Battle 25 in action.

Think back to the the original Macross and DYRL. The position that Bobby has on the Macross Quarter is the same position that Claudia LaSalle (Claudia Grant in Robotech) had. HER job was piloting the SDF-1 plus firing the main guns, and SHE was not a macho guy but a WOMAN. Typically in the Macross universe, the bridge crew is usually all women with the exception of the Captain who is male. We had it in Macross, DYRL, Macross Plus, and Macross 7. Flashback 2012 is the first time we have a woman as Captain, but we don't know the makeup of the bridge crew. My gripe against Bobby lies not in the character but in his design!! Claudia was one of my favorite characters in Macross, AND I DID NOT LIKE HER BEING REPLACED WITH A DARK SKINNED GAY MAN WITH AN AFRO!!!( but I'll calm down, lest I make my Macross 7 retoric look like child's play when it comes to this issue) The bottom is that the bridge crews have been dominated by women who could get the job done. As for Kawamori's reason for putting Bobby there I don't know, but I am sure it is not because he needed a macho man for that position; Claudia proved that!! P.S. Don't let Bobby bother you, the series is half over (I think) and he doesn't appear to have that important a role in the series. Apart from flying Macross Quarter and talking to Ranka and Ozma, we dont see very much of him.

Call me old, but I miss the days when everybody flew the SAME type of aircraft. Those VF-1's with different colors were alright with me, because it gave the impression that the pilots who survived did so because of their abilities, and not because of the type of plane their were flying. One of my gripes against Macross 7 was that the VF-11's were all cannon fodder, while VF-19's and VF-17's were undestructable! So, all you would have to do is fly one of the "heroic" planes and you had a very good chance of making out alive. Sure, Basara's 19 was destroyed but only after 48 episodes!! How many VF-11 pilots made it that far?!! And let's not forget Diamond Force and their near-indestructable 17's. They only lost 1 that I can remember!! A squadren consisting of one type aircraft makes it through 49 episodes of combat and manages to loose only one, while any entire fleet containing God knows how many squadrens of another type aircraft manages to loose HUNDREDS EVERY EPISODE!!! Man if that is not favoritism I don't know what is! DESIGNING A CANNON FODDER PLANE IS JUST SOOOO WRONG!!!!! I wish Kawamori would go back to designing one VF per series, AND LET THE CHIPS FALL WHERE THEY MAY, anything else looks like an inferior aircraft that unfortunate pilots have to fly in order to provide background explosions. I am glad that the VF-171 finally scored some kills, and that the NUNS pilots were portrayed as real fighters; not cowards. I would like to see more NUNS action, and possibly the 171 pilot who bagged the baddies.

I DEMAND TWO SEASONS OF MACROSS FRONTIER!!! However, if Kawamori wants to save the money for a big 2 hour movie telling us what happen to the Megaroad-01 with Mikimoto doing the actual character designs (not sketches), then I could live with one season of Macross F. Sniff...sniff...I MISS Minmay!!

As a man, I voted for Sheryl only because I love Ranka and don't want her to end up with a self-centered jerk like Alto! Unfortunately, nearly all of the lead male characters in Macross tend to fall in this mold:Shin, Hikaru, Hibiki, Isamu, Basara, and now Alto. Kawamori doesn't seem to be breaking the mold, does he?
