I think you're right, we'll get all the answers but I don't think we're gonna be happy with way their given. I think there's going to be hurried expositions amid massive mecha battles. Things that should take time to explain, will be shouted back'n forth between missiles vollies and gun fire. I really think there's too much to finish off the entire series with just two episodes, at least with any real closure. This feels so much like the X-Files finale where nothing really was resolved, just the smoking man gets killed (I guess). I really think they wasted alot of time in the beginning episodes and now their trying to cram and ending down our throats with just two left. Unless they are hour long episodes, I think we're going to get shafted!!

I would like to see something set in the reconstruction years after the Zentradi bombardment of earth (the DYRL version).

I agree that this episode comes at you pretty fast. It almost feels like they said: "What! Only three episode left?" As far as the episode goes, I'm going wait and see the sub on this one. It's not bad, and I would vote it positive, however I've gotten to the point where I just want it to end, and I no longer care about the whole Ranka, Alto, Sheryl triangler. They killed Michel and left poor Klan just dangling. Nasase is in a coma and Grace will All the characters I really liked are dead or doomed including , So just let it end.

Then, you have just solved the mystery of why Kawamori does not want to do a new story involving Hikaru, Misa, and Minmay!

Just because the voice actor is dead, doesn't mean the character is dead. I'm sure they could and would find somebody to replace him. As for Kawamori, he's the man in charge right now, but don't ever give up hope!!!!

That's about the ONLY way we're ever going to find out what happen to Hikaru, Misa, Minmay, and the Megaroad-01! Mr. Kawamori has said in the past that their story is finished, and that he wants each Macross to be "different". If you look at each series Macoss Plus, Macross 7, and Macross Frontier, you can see the difference, he covers new ground with each series. As much as I would love for there to be a Macross: Megaroad story, I can't see it happening with Kawamori. This is like way back in the day, when he was asked about the VF-4 fighter and if it transformed (because in Flashback 2012 it's in fighter mode) and he replied: "I suppose so, I guess it does." or something along those lines. Not giving the fans a direct answer and from what I've read had an attitude with his answer, leads me to believe that he doesn't want to deal with those characters anymore. I suspect that it's the real reason the Megaroad "gets lost" in the center of the galaxy, in order to bring an end to Minmay, Misa, and Hikaru. Could they do a Macross story without Kawamori? Sure, they made Macross 2 didn't they, but the question should be asked: "Do they want to make a Macross without Him?" and the answer would probably be no. There is no reason to do so. With Macross, DYRL, Macoss Plus, Mac 7, Mac dyn 7, and now Macross frontier under his belt, Kawamori will be associated with Macross until he dies or until he goes "Kawamori" again.

Personally, I've liked Ranka from the start and I still do! Nothing has changed my mind about her, and the same thing can be said about Sheryl; I did not like her at the start and I still don't like her!! As for the others, the only one that has changed for me has been Grace. I've never really given her much thought until she destroyed that planet and killed all those Zentraedi!! Man, I really did not like her then, but for some reason (the skin tight flight suit) my mind has changed and all is forgiven!! I'm in Grace's corner now! I know it's shallow, but it IS anime.

Sheryl will probably be the one on the stage/bridge of the Frontier doing her "minmay" number. Her song will most likely not affect the Vajra to a great degree, to which the SMS will return with Ranka and by a 'duet' be able to bring an end to the war...at least I think so.

I think that Alto and Luca are now NUNS, because the Captain said that the SMS was being dissolved and replaced with the NUNS. Alto and Luca recieved the phone message, however they both choose to remain behind. I don't know if the message explained the entire situation, I don't think it did given the fact that during the combat scene neither Ozma or Alto mentions anything about it.

Grace was caught up in the moment! When she sensed her "fanboys" watching her in that skin tight flightsuit, she decided to do to herself what we would want to do! Only problem is she's anime and we're real! (Dang, reality can stink sometimes!)

Dang, you saw The Big Sleep too! I thought I was the only one (being a big Bogart fan) who ever saw it!! Bogart aside, Grace is a good looking character, she has a nice design; I wish the character designer had spent more time on others!

Darn, I thought it was going to be like Gundam Stardust Memory, when the old pilot's mobile suit had taken some damage and they kept the focus on that "minor" damage until it caused an explosion.

Did anybody think it strange that they focused on the damage caused to Ozma's plane? Maybe he's going to eat pineapple salad after all.

Forget Sheryl and Ranka; GRACE IS HOT!!!! although, given the fact she has a Valk, I 've got a bad feeling she's goning to be shot down.
