There is no ifs or buts that the 1/60 YF19 is one of the worst Yamato made product. It's even worse than their very hard to transform 1 ed. 1/72 YF19, in terms of its Tab-B versus the many problems of the 1/60 YF19 encountered on this thread. On your concern with the grey blocks in the nose section, what I did with mine is I sand down the nubs that are pushed against them. I also sand down the other nub on the other neck end, that you have to push down before the pushing away of the nose that is held tightly by the nubs that push against the grey blocks. Just be careful that when you sand them, try to attach and detach the nose to gauge how much you should sand away. Stop as soon as you feel that you're transforming the nose without much struggle. After sanding, the nose will still hold firmly in the fighter mode. Hope this helps!

Yeah, I used the term friend and conduct the thread in such a manner so as to not sully anyone's reputation. Besides, I don't think any harm is done yet. I'm surprise since Kicker773 knows who this seller might be, I guess most of you only need to ask the right questions when you see anyone selling any 1/48 VFs. Let's treat this thread as a case study and make the issue well-documented that a breakage, cracking or stress mark like these are not acceptable for resale at a higher price. Unless of course such a thing is mutually acceptable to the buyer and seller.

No real man in his right mind would cross dress, regardless if it's for mandatory tradition or money's sake. Physically, he may have a pen1s, mentally, Alto has breasts bigger than Nanase's and a holy grail of younger sister's pussy that can never be attained, enjoyed or violated by fanboys, no matter how many Frontier merchandize of Alto are purchased. So, yes. Alto is a hermaphrodite. No amount of time in the gym or hormone injection can change that because he's been damaged as a child.

Actually, he claimed that he wasn't aware that the cracks were present until I showed him. After that, he told me that he thought that they weren't a big problem, that it could still sell at appreciated price because to him, they are minor. But thanks for your answers guys. Let's hope he'll do the right thing.

Guys try to answer the question as professionally as possible as I will extend the thread to him. So no one else will end up with such problem. Thanks!

Thanks for the input guys. Another question - What if he sells it in ebay and not make note of this problem. Would that be considered as fraud?

Hi, I was offered to buy this high ticket item by friend, but there are some problems with it. Attached below are some pictures of the problems. Everything else is fine and complete. My questions is, will it seriously devalue the valk? How much money for it would be fair for both seller and buyer? Please let me know. Thanks!

Devastator... so much potential, too little effort invested.

Hm, what about the bots in Michael Bay's Transformers? I don't know... I like Transformers and all, and I think the vehicles they transform into are fine, but I think their bot modes are really butt ugly.

Yup, and her right leg is put on top of Lagann's back vent. It's the only place that makes sense to achieve that pose. Here's a close up for you to see. Sorry for the bad quality. Edit - actually looking closer now, I realised that the pic I posted above is a revised posture. On the old Yoko pose, I can't leave her rifle slanted like that because it keeps falling off. Her hands are too loose.

Let me see if I can take a better picture back home. And Boota... even with blutack, he will slide off after awhile.

Haha! I see you made your Lagann and gang posed like my avatar. I hope it wasn't too difficult to achieve that. Took me several hours just to pose Yoko to look natural.

Yeah and I like 'em all. Which is a strange thing at the same time. Oh and, Bryger (J9) to me has one of the handsomest robotic faces. He and Wreck Gar of G1 Transformers... mustache and beards make them look more badass.

I think most of the mech in Gurren Lagann except for the combined Gurren Lagann, are some of the ugliest.
-
LOL! that's like skeet shooting with the grand cannon.

Of course I did. The only places I did put the screwdriver to are to loosen the 4 pieces on the back shoulders. What I meant is, the screws with the worn tops are like that fresh out of box.
-
Yeah, the screws are starting to strip and it isn't just the ones on the shoulders, but everywhere!

Not feeling the Armor mode. -
Thank you so much. I did the fix and the arms poses aren't scary and a chore to do now. Still they shouldn't glue them at all. Hey, did you all noticed the heavy wear on the fasteners? It's like they used really cheaply made screws or they were in a real hurry when putting them on. All of mine are like that.
-
So the 1D is in the "at risk" bracket... The arms at the shoulder ball joints are so tight to pose on mine, I have to hold the hinge in a way of counter pressure so the hinge will not break, everytime I move the arms. And worse of all, the solution to fix is just to loosen the arms. But the parts that covered the screws are glued - AGAIN!
-
Whew! That's good enough for me I hope. Thanks for the clarification Jenius!

Wow, rinse and repeat. Just when I FINALLY want to buy the new 1/60 VF1 because of the 1D. I ain't gonna collect my preorder this time. Gonna change it to something else that um, won't break.

Sharpie, black paint... stuff like this happens. Halfway thru speed reading your post, I feared for the worse... that it's the plastic that peeled with your stickers... thankfully it didn't.

I'm still displaying my 1/48s because I have yet to buy any new 1/60s. Recently, I compared my DYRL Hikaru, Max and Roy to the Macross Chronicle TV Max, and got a shock of my life. The plastic on the DYRL 1/48s has yellowed slightly. Thankfully the yellowing is uniform throughout the valk. I think I'll stop at the 1/48s for now. I'm not sure if I want to put them back in storage for anything new, as this might yellow them further. I need to make more money to buy an old salt mine to make my private storage cum showcase.
