    On a different topic, I finally had the time and courage to transform my 2 YF-19s to check for any damage that wasn't visible in fighter mode and everything was fine. No damage or weirdness. Both have loose ankles though. Had a bit of trouble with the leg armour, but got them to fit decently tight. Had trouble with the uni boob too, but after some tweaking I was able to adjust it to the right position, although it did sit a little bit differently on each YF-19. I thought I had them in the same position, but I must've one it a little different on each. Pretty happy with both of them. Oh, and I was lucky and didn't draw any blood during the transformations.

    Makes me scared to transform. Maybe I'll put on some cotton gloves like Mr K to do the transformation.

    I'm not sure if it was answered, but I'm wondering why many of the battroids have such a large space between the torso and crotch plate compared to the official Arcadia pics? Is there a part that is not being transformed correctly or a difference between the promo toy used in the Arcadia pics and the actual toy? I haven't attempted a transformation yet and have no experience with the V2 19 series, so just curious.

    2 from HLJ which came in the original Arcadia carton. No transformations yet though. My first time with a 19 so a bit intimidated. No major problems. Did notice loose joints on the tailfins on one of them, so that one will probably be battroid mode.

    These are just so fantastic. To see the evolution from v1 to the current iteration is amazing. The engineering involved is so interesting. I hope these become available to the masses.

    Man all this bad news about the YF-19. I'm hoping you guys can sort it out. I checked out 2nd one from HLJ and it was fine. Okay there been no pics in a while. Time to lighten up the mood. Here is my 2nd one compared to the VF-1A and VF-25A. I was showing my wife how small the VF-1 is and she said, "isn't the small one better, because it's a smaller target?", which is true, but I told her the YF-19 is a much more powerful fighter. I wonder what Isamu would be able to do in a VF-1A?

    just received mine in Australia from HLJ. MISBISB like davidwhangchoi. But not anymore. I had to open it up and experience the glory that is the YF-19. After seeing poor Mommar's broken wing, I want to check out the 2nd one to make sure it is okay too. Much swooshing shall be done tonight.

    got my HLJ auto payment receipt and it's being processed for shipping now. had 2 preordered from Black Friday sale and shipping to Australia EMS was ¥4980. All up approximately AU$610 Would have been nice to have a 3rd so I could display with full armour and the custom arm cannon and still keep one in naked battroid.

    Just received this 1/60 VF-1S kit for my birthday (via HK Collectables). Now I have 2 VF kits I need to build. T_____T Hoping to go for a Low Visibility scheme (like the 1/48 VF-1A Low Vis) on one, and the other in a Black Aces inspired scheme. No idea when I will actually start. I barely have time to watch TV anymore now that I'm a father.

    I have 2 of the MC Unicorn with Prism coating ob display and both look as good as they did when I bought them. In fact I heard it was the uncoated release that was prone to yellowing (original release - not the re-release).

    You could also use the Action Base 2 for RD since they're close to 1/144 scale. I still think you could use Action Base 1 for RD since they also support 1/144 gunpla. Might need to modify the crotch support piece, but that is easily done. I had to modify mine for my MC 1/100 Unicorn and worked out great.

    Thanks for the temptation. I went to look again, but ¥17000 is still too dear for me. Also bit disappointed that the sculpt is still the same as MC Unicorn. MC Unicorn has pretty limited articulation, especially in the legs due to all the moving armour parts. It's been so long since MC Unicorn was released, it would be been nice for them to redesign to have better articulation. They did it for the MG kit so they could have taken design cues from there. Oh well. I wonder when they will announce Banshee Norn and FA Unicorn. Also if they will have redesigned frame. Probably reuse the frame again... Pity.

    Thanks for clarifying the misinformation I had read. It's hard finding how what you can and can't do regarding top coats. I'll definitely be taking this advice on board once I get around to working on my Yammies.

    I'd definitely pick up an Arcadia re-release of this bird. I'm not a fan of the awkward battoid and gerwalk mode, but the fighter mode is fantastic. Just fix up the popping off missile. I think I'd have to also mod into FB2012 Skull as well. The 4G paint scheme is so bland.

    Got my first Bandai Chogokin Valk today and it's quite an impressive toy, with a sturdy, heavy feel to it. Reminds me of the Metal Composite/Metal Build Gundam lines. Overall I prefer the Yamato style valks more due to the overall lighter weight of the Yammies. Next thing to do it the give it a good wash to remove any coatings on it, and then start panel lining, decals, weathering and finish off with a Mr Hobby Flat Top Coat so it has the same look at the Yammies. I might also adjust some of the colours a little to make a little more original looking.

    MC Full Armour Unicorn would be awesome! Green psycho frame Unicorn would look nice next to original unicorn.

    Wow! RD Kshatriya looks great and wow that is expensive for an RD. RRP ¥13,440! I would love a Metal Composite Kshatriya. That would be MASSIVE! Probably be in the region of Arcadia YF-19 pricing too. Anyone pre-order the MC Banshee? I'm waiting for a Norn configuration release first. Then I will have to buy it twice like I did the MC Unicorn Prism coat, so I can display it in both forms.
