Provided the Amiercan Public did not wuss out and demand a peace with Japan, the Japanese could not win the War. Even if they had totally won the Battle of Midway (that is lost no carriers and the USN lost all 3) by mid 1943 the USN would be back to CV parity and by 1944 would be up by 3 and by the end of 44 would be up by 5 CVs able to hold twice the aircraft. Unless the Japanese began to somehow hit US industrial might they had no chance as long as the American Public stayed the course. The war would no doubt have gone on much longer as the US would have lost the Solomons, but it would not be lost by a long shot.

At the risk of being beaten, I like the movie. I love the book, read it three times, but i still like the movie. It was just fun. The sequal was horrible and none of what made the first movie good to me. I still need to see the anime

Future Grand Prix Cyber Formula. A little silly in the early TV eps (like first 12 or so) but it settles down and gets a lot better real fast. Car designs by Shoji Kawamori!

I enjoyed it as well. It had its rough parts, but overall, i was really into it. Also I feel the need to point out that the capital ships had thrust reversers and deflectors to allow for slowing down and breaking maneuvers. w00t

I remember a long time ago there was this small band, cant remember the name, but they hand a song called FoKker's Feint. They were actually Robotech fans as they also had a song with Zentraedi in the title.

I remember playing SRW 3 on an EMU not knowing anything about magic/spells. I ended up playing the entire game without those, that was fun.

I agree with opus, just because something like this happens doesnt mean HG is behind it. Its simple bussiness. Macross isnt like Eva, Trigun, or Bebop where there are endless streams of fans and advertising on TV, magazines etc... Animeigo also isnt like ADV who has tons o cash. Animeigo caters to a smaller slice of fandom. Theyve probably sold as many as they think they can and thats that. If you really want to buy one, buy it now, or tell animeigo you want one, if enough say theyll buy them, theyll keep making them. its all about $
