1. Roy gives the thumbs up approval! http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/thewildkingd...re2.jpg&.src=ph There's still a buncha tiny things I gotta fix, but it's getting there. I hope to work on it more tomorrow.
2. I'm with Bertt, I got two kits already, and it might be nice not to have to scrounge up decals. Max and Millia donchya know. C'mon! I know you said initially that decals were only for the new run, but is this still the case? I have been patient for an answer, and it doesn't take much to tap in a few words that say" "Go away freako we said decals are for the new run only." or "Oh all right we'll make a few extra sets if you just have to have them!" Cheers, Berttt 342474
3. Cause I'll be booby trapped!
4. They can pry my models from my cold dead hands...
5. I need to be on the list for one. My spleen is on Ebay right now...
6. That is #$%&@^ cool looking.
7. Just got mine. Very nice kit as always John!
8. PM me and send me your address. I've got spare instruction sheets for it that I can send you. It is the 1/72 Imai VF-1S Variable kit by the way. Roy Focker's ride.
9. Wow. I am strapped for cash at the moment, but would love to get one. Can you give me a rough guestimate of about how much time I have to skip lunches at work to save? If I may do say so myself, I'm with Cobywan, you're better than Tanmen. Your attention to detail is incredible. BTW, are these still in the $80.00 range?
10. Ah, domo. I missed those pics. Yup, nice breakdown!
11. Destructions?? 370169 Well it is the Monster.
12. Any chance of the pic for the parts breakdown? I'm looking to repose mine into a more violent pose.
13. I'd like one standing figure please.
14. Here's a 1/72 Hasagawa VF-1D Battroid conversion, and some Macross 0 alternate decals. Coolness, and a highly reliable source. http://www.starshipmodeler.com/cfstore/ind...&category_id=61
15. Those are great ideas for the dispaly, and some fine photography for such a awkward subject to shoot!
16. Excellent display idea! Beautiful work! Mine is about 3/4 done, I just have some paint work on my base, then I promise some pictures.
17. By my math that's 1/8288 at exactly 19". if it's 19.68" it's 1/8000. Or in either case, it's in scale (close enough) with the nice old little SDF-1 kits kicking around looking for something to fight.
18. I want one. Hey Mechtech, was yours a scratchbuild or my kit? Either way, I'd love to see it.
19. All you need is warm water, a detergent type soap, a old tooth brush, and some elbow grease.
20. It's from Mospeada. That's Yellow's fighter that he crashes on Earth after the first failed Mars Base attack force. I don't think it was ever offered as a kit.
21. this whole topic is funnier than anything I read in looooong time on MW.
22. Gundamhead I think it will be somewhere around 80 Euros. It´s a smaller model than I had originally thought (16,6cm) but on the other hand I want to incorporate many details and features like speed brakes in/out, landing gear/arrestor hook up/down, side missile bays open/closed so this is why the price will be slightly higher than the one of the Oberth (65EU). But it will still take some time to finish it, definitely not earlier than february. And it seems the exchange rate of the EURO is dropping.... 351666 Great! That means I can save my pennies for a bit!
23. Any idea of rough pricing? I'd love to get one, but money's a bit tight at the moment. You do some incredible work!
24. Hey Berttt, Your status is nearly celebrity too. How goes the booster, and what happened to the awesome Spiderbug build you did?
25. I don't know if it's just creative types or not, but do you know when you get a idea in your head on how you want something to work out, and in your head you can see it, but trying to explain it to others makes you seem like a babbling buffoon, but you know it will be great when it's done... Well in other words, a picture is worth a thousand words. You've showed us what was in my head. BTW, you might be a little afraid of that... I do hope to to get some work going on mine soon, but I know what you mean about this thing being a pain in the ass to photograph. I thought it was just me.
