To play a lot with it, tranform it several times, take a pictures and so on, hands down Bandai since it is more sturdy and plastic is relatively new while Yamato is extremely fiddly and since it is quite old toy it can be very brittle. If you want only to display, Bandai if you want Battroud mode and Yamato if you want a fighter mode. This is my currente set up. Bandai for Battroid mode, both 19 and 21, and Yamato/Arcadia both for fighter mode.

At less this one could have been a Hikaru TV VF-1S. How things are unfolding with this DX line a full Vermillion team or DYRL skull squadron seems pretty impossible. If they just want to milk the mold just recolor the TV VF-1A to Kakizaki colors!

Also gotta love this part of the "lore"(?). Like: you know what is super aerodynamic? A huge a** radar disk. Lol. The Omega is good re-interpretation of the Iota legioss but this one is just a complete train wreck.

Finally got me a Yamato VF-1S Hikaru. From Mandarake for 9k yen. Not a fan of Arcadia super bright whites, I even dislike a bit the Yamato white gor TV releases. Gotta love Yamato DYRL releases off white or the Bandai DX off white. I already have a old set of Strike parts to equip it later.

Still waiting to hear if Bandai is releasing a sound booster soon to take plunge. If they planed for it there should be visible attachments points for it on the bakc of the Battroid mode. Can any one that has it confirm? Videos don't help that much.

I don't recognize that gundam model? What series is it from? Oh, wait.. Joke aside, the Eta was pretty colorful already. I kinda don't like the way this turning. It is like, are you trying to have a low visibility for the enemy or just fly around in a big bullseye target.

Last batch of the year. Finally got me a VF-X from Yamato. This was my dreamed Valk from the Yamato era. Plus 3 more Hi Metal Brownies. 2 sealed from Jungle and 1 opened from Mandarake. Count up to 18. Happy season to everybody!!!

They don't use a closed helmet all the time when they are in space. Hikaru closes his helmet just before battle in ep 27 And in ep 24 Max and the other dude are walking in the hangar without helmet. Hikaru maybe for an unknown reason was wearing his helmet closed while rushing to board the VF-1J

I keep checking regularly for some Iotas. Check manually, run a search for "mospeada" or "tread. And don't relay on the alerts. For me in Mexico (center) start looking early in the morning around 7 am and at night past 8 pm has given me the best results. So far I could have striked like 2 Treads already but I only wanted one. Lol.

Seems the factory mixed the parts. Looks like they are both the same right side (correct) piece but the incorrect is instaled upside down. Weird part is that how the pieces even made it to tampo printing stage on the line process. Much like the case of the 2 of the same side ankles of the Arcadia Ivanov SV-51

Those are going as low as 6k yen at mandarake. Even now there is a 19P sitting there for a couple of weeks at 15k yen
