I pseronally believe it was toyanomi~! When they said they where gonna make the best VF-1, and it was compariable to the 1/60 (i personally prefer the 1/60 over the veritech), the robotech fans could argue theres it better. I think Yamato wanted to make it absolutely clear, no question about it, that there veritech sucks, and their VF-1 is the best. If toyanomi didnt release their veritech, i doubt 1/48's would exist today.

*me falls in love with ur SV-51* in flanker scheme

I was studying and i geard this chopper fly over head and it got me thinking, would a modern day fighter plane beat a modern day chopper eg.. a F-18 hornet vs an AH-64 apache. Who do you reacon would come off second best??? And what enviroments do u suppose which one would excel in. Like obviously in an urban enviroment the apache has got an adv, as opposed to say an open desert terrain.

That figure is from gun grave, and wasnt it realesed ages (more than a year) ago.... I would reconize that beeg ass pistol anywhere...... Ive had this pic for over a yr, i just changed it to jpeg version now... Maybe they didnt sell to many, so now they re-releasing it marked as trigun to help push sales? looks like a repaint

FlyingPika replied to Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0's topic in Toys
1/48 thxns I hate parts swapping, wot makes macross toys so impressive is their transformation abilities, if you show it to some1 else, and u say this transforms to that they like wow really??.... and then u got say well if u swop these parts... "oh" -
i am in total awe of that garland....... even a figure, and its hugeeeeee robotech the movie was not butchered...... The dubbing etc was good. Yamato has shot right to the top of my books, if this wot they have been working on i can wait for the yf-19 FP. VB-6 and modat 5....... both dreams come true... i actually remember about 2-3 yrs ago riding home on my bike going thro this twisty winding downhill peice of road preying that yamato will make a garland... i honestly never thought it would happen tho. I bet with the 1/48 armour you'll have to keep the nosecone off. YAMATO CAN HAVE MY BABY ANYTIME =THXNS and those of you that havent seen megazone 23, its >>>>>>> macross *runs around in bliss abit*

Just strip out the power supply and from an old computer, u wont find a better regulated/smother 5 volt supply, and its free!! Just put a 1K in series with your LED's so that 0.7v is dropped across the LED only (they only need like 3mA). You do get super bright blue LED's. 20 LEDs on for a year will use less power than ur toaster does in 5 mins. And they dont burn out really (unless u abuse them).

"1/100 Prototype VB-6 Monster from Magazine" thats the SHE model that never came to be, nothing to do with yamato...

so, according to you, the q-rau is a better toy than the 1:48 VF-1? I know they are seperate scales, but one came out before the other... heck, even if you separate the scales into multiple toy lines, I still prefer any of the other 1:60s to the q-rau. now... about that monster... it looks like it is gonna' RULE!!!! of course, the Q-rau looked like it was gonna' rule too... I think my big new problem with yamato is the q-rau... it is the last macross toy they have released and it is the only major disappointment IMO. u gotta look at the WHOLE trend. if something increaes alot, slips down once then continues increasing u cant say things are getting worse.... look at the YF-19.....

Have you ever seen transformers the movie? That didnt have any giggle factor and was more "realistic" than minmay's singing stunts.... -
wow your shading has come a long way from that heavyly overdown VF-2. The subtle streaks are perfect. Well done.
