If HG has anything to do with it, they will probably release a repaint of the Masterpiece of Crap as a Masterpiece Jetfire, and expect people to pay 85 bucks for it. That is their standard tactic after all.

What are you doing for the panel lining? Is that a wash?, or did you do some pre-shading etc? Also, how much might a build up job like this cost the average joe??

Just curious, since you know, about how much does it cost to commission a custom? The last quotes I got were anywhwere between 200 and 400 bucks.

Yeah, take a 125 dollar toy, and spend $500 bucks on it . I love the customs put out here, but wow, the customizing fees are steep. To be expected though, alot of work goes into those things.

Here's a snapshot I took of their menu... So, what you can do, is rent the movie, the top title, or the bonus disc, the bottom title. I figured when I rented mine that one was just the movie, and the other would be the movie with the bonus disc, because it didn't seem like they would list just a bonus disc. And what I got was just the bonus disc, so, just be aware of that. Also, they are much like Netflix, they want to bill your credit card once a month: WHAT MEMBERSHIP PLAN LEVELS DOES GREENCINE OFFER AND WHAT DO THEY COST? GreenCine's new membership plan levels are as follows: 2 out plan @ $14.95/month 3 out plan @ $19.95/month 4 out plan @ $24.95/month 5 out plan @ $29.95/month 8 out plan @ $39.95/month 10 out plan @ $49.95/month I hate places that automatically bill my credit card, so I did the free trial membership that I got from the coupon I picked up at Otakon, then cancelled my membership. Yeah, I grabbed one of their fliers at last year's Otakon. Their Anime section is pretty good, but beware...... I was in a Miyazaki mood, so I figured I would get Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Castle in the Sky. I went to their site, and rented all three of them, I was surprised that they listed them as two disk sets, but I thought no matter... What did I get? I got the second disks of Kiki, and Castle in the Sky, yes, that's right, the BONUS disks, not the movies.... So, just be careful when you make your selection because apparently, they think that some people out there just like to rent the bonus discs.

So, how do you steer the thing when you have to use your arms to control and shoot the cannons? The control stick appears to be between the legs. No wonder they're easy to destroy.

This is not only the one I want, but the one I have the perfect grade gundams are amazing. I also have the RX-178 MKII Titans, it is by far my most favorite PG.

Hell for that matter, I'd like to see a Zaku type 1 conversion kit for the Zaku II PG. B-Club where are you ????? I'm not sure how much luck we will have with any future Zeon suits in PG since it seems the Zeon suits are the main focus of the HY2M series. And who said a PG Labor, now that woud be SWEET! I'd also like to see a PG Heavyarms, but the original, not the custom.

Dude, you're smoking crack, Bebop is a great series... As to my favorites, I am currently torn.... I too am on the Shell bandwagon, that is a great tune. However, for pure guitar awesomeness, I have to say the song from Trigun, not sure of the title, but it packs some awesome acoustic guitar. All time favorite? - Torn once again between Ai Oboete Imasu Ka from DYRL, and Himitu Kudasai from Megazone 23 PTII

Hey ChristopherB What are those kits like when completed?. Are they poseable at all?, or do you have to choose one pose, and it's forever locked in that pose?.

Yeah, I gotta chime in on this too. I was disappointed in the Yamato Escaflowne, after all the hype. It looks good from a distance, but once you get up close, FEH, especially in Guymelef mode, I hate the way the head is just on a hinge, and doesn't sit on top of the shoulders. Which is why, viewed from afar, it looks good, but once you get close, you see that stuff just isnt where it's supposed to be. And the transformation is too hard, I remember Graham said he did the english instructions for Yamato on that, I think he missed a few spots . But, on the flip side, after I opened the box, I was stoned for a half an hour on the overwhelming PVC fumes that gushed out of the box . Other than that, I really have to (but hate to) nominate my DX RX-93 Nu Gundam from CCA. I love that Gundam, and it looks so awesome with the funnels attached, but the toy can't stand up with them on! .

Yeah, because we all know that to pour clear plastic into molds as opposed to grey or green plastic takes tons of re-tooling, and R&D time. If these get delayed there will be no excuse that Yamato can offer other than just plain apathy. Not saying that you are wrong Mech, but didn't we hear that Yamato recently switched and/or moved factories? If that information was indeed true, it may explain some of the delays... Just a thought. Melissa It's all good Melissa, I hadn't heard that Yamato moved or may have moved. I was just jabbing at them since a delay on this product would be ridiculous given it's simplicity. IIRC, didn't they show a picture of the packaging way back when, and it was pretty much a clear plastic bag with a card stapled over the top?. Even more reason why there should be no delays, but ultimately, we are at their mercy. As Rob said, he will probably get them on the 31st.

Those hip pegs are freaking hideous. That GERWALK pic is also disappointing. Either they just threw the thing together, and snapped a pic, or you can't get a good A Stance GERWALK pose. It looks like the legs only come down arrow straight. It better not be more than about 25 bucks, but this is Yamato after all...

And what could be more surprising than the first air wing, transvestite squadron. Valkyries plummeting from the sky with fantastic makeup!, and a fantastic gun!. Come to think of it, that crap really would have worked on the Zentraedi Come to think of it, aside from not knowing when chicks were practically throwing themselves naked in front of him (a common anime trait) Hikaru was just about the most normal main character out there. Oh, and noone says angst like Shinji Ikari, that little pussy had more angst in him than every Gundam pilot that ever existed, all rolled into one sexually confused little package.
