  1. Well, at the risk of sounding like one of those pinko, anti-gun, anti-authority hippies... Dead is dead. You don't want to kill her too much, or people will start screaming equality blah blah, and writing songs, and holding hands and candlelight vigils etc etc ad nauseum. If you hit her 3 times, that should have been sufficient providing you hit the right places. Amadou Diallo comes to mind. Bottom line is that no matter how much you train, you can't train the gut reaction out of some people to freeze up in situations like that. Most police go their entire careers without having to shoot someone so that really is an extreme situation. Yeah, those training facilities ROCK. When I was in the MP's, I trained with the Montgomery County MD SWAT Team. They had their own little facility set way off in the boonies. All it was was a firing range, and a tire house where we trained with live ammo. NICE. And to top it all off, their standard issue sidearm was a Para-Ordnance P14-45, MMMMMM.
  2. Yeah, it would take a crapload of air, or battery power to work the big ass bolt on the M-14!! or the M1 for that matter since it's essenitally the same design.
  3. Here's what the clear parts for the PG Gundams look like... The clear FP parts don't look as clear, but you could tell from the magazine pics that originally advertised them that they were slightly opaque. Also, you have to remember that the clear Gundam parts are smooth plastic, while the Clear FP parts are textured. It also might have something to do with Jesse's photography skillz, those pics look kind of dark, no offense meant Jesse, I suck at taking pics...
  4. Aah, good old Misato Katsuragi. I love that drunken slurm.
  5. For those of you who don't know, check this link... LAT/LONG If you're not in the US, just leave the state and zip code blank, enter the city name and your country, Scotland is not listed Gumper, but if you choose UK, you should be OK. Or, you can use this link... http://www.maporama.com/share/
  6. I glossed over the middle of the topic, so I may have missed this... But, do they make it in 1/48?
  7. That kind of stuff depresses me, I should have been a pilot, but now I'm an old fart, and the only thing I could ever hope to fly would be a freaking cessna
  8. Yeah thats the vectoring nozzles at work, after all when moving like that the control surfaces become nothing more than mush.... Especially when the aircraft is almost totally vertical, that big delta wing becomes a sail at that point. And what's with the size of the tailfins on that bad boy?? All in all, it's a neat maneuver, but I wonder if it has an application beyond pure showmanship. It's done at pretty low speeds in those vids, and I bet if you pulled it at high speed you'd start shearing stuff off the aircraft. So I wonder if that is a combat maneuver or just something that shows off what the plane can do?
  9. How the Phuck can it do that? I mean, he pulls nose up, and the plane almost comes to a stop it seems, then all of the sudden, it flops over on it's back... Is it the vectoring nozzles that do that? The video is of crappy enough quality, that I can't make out what the flaps are doing, but that flip has got to be coming from thrust. Someone 'splain this to me, I'm an aviation moron.
  10. Ahhh, our resident airsoft master arrives... Do you know anyone that has that Solscud? Is it worth the cash? Does the kit I posted have the remington parts as well for the grenade launcher?
  11. I'm also not sure if the Legends kit shoots something out the grenade launcher like the MiM does. Granted, even if it doesn't the MiM still isnt worth thousands of dollars more. I wonder why there is so much markup?
  12. Here's why it doesn't matter.... See in this pic, the whole front and sides of the thighs, and kneecaps are white, so Yamato doing the stripe made it wrong from the beginning.... What's my point? We should stop squabbling, next thing you know, someone will be pointing out that there weren't visible screws in the animation.
  13. Perhaps they're adding electronics to it? but that still shouldnt count for $3000.00. According to this site, you can get the whole shebang for $800.00 http://www.legendshobbies.com/tokyoma/tokyoma.htm Conversion kit...
  14. Here's an alternative... Costs 1/5 the price of the working Monsters in Motion version. More metal content, too. Some assembly required... Felix Yeah, but does it shoot airsoft??? I would gladly pay a little more for a non-static toy. The resin ones look great, but if they don't do a whole lot, then what's thr point?
  15. Geez, must be a bad area Hope you like your fast pack parts..... Jesus, that's an A1!! I haven't seen one of those since basic training! And even then we were phasing in the A2's. Of course, the oldest weapon I ever saw in the Army was the OLD Remington - Rand .45 I qualified with in MP school. That thing was so beat up, if you shook it in your hand you could hear all kinds of stuff rattling around. You can imagine it's accuracy, and why I only qualified marksman. However, a year later when they handed me the shiny new Beretta, I qualified expert, hmmmm. Too bad the Beretta was a pussy 9MM, not anything big enough to actually stop someone.
  16. Oh, I know they're canon, I just don't like them that way. Not very bloody practical either, the paint would bake off of those barrels after 10 shots.
  17. Holy crap!!!!! http://www.monstersinmotion.com/weapons/pulserifle.html
  18. Accoording to the TRAILER, the DVD will be on sale 5/28.
  19. I don't think those are the Yammie 1/100's Notice the VF-0\s don't have the hideous leg peg.
  20. I'm still complaining about the head laser colors. I had to paint my Max's lasers dark grey and I'll have to paint my Milia's as well it seems. Me too... BTW - Tamiya TS-42 Light Gunmetal is an almost exact match for the metallic color of the visor.
  21. Oh, that's......that's just not right....
  22. And the money AND talentless, AKA ME!!
  23. $580 Jeebus, for that kind of cash, it better come with a steak dinner and a blowjob. I appreciate the skill that goes into these kits, but the prices are so far beyond ludicrous for most of them.
  24. You like it!!!? I thought so... Here's something to think about, I am not wearing any pants in that picture either. Well, to be clear, I wasn't calling you a homo, it was whomever couldn't get enough of you from your avatar It isn't possible to get enough of Agent ONE! That's not what the doorknobs say
