Right, but aside from the "green" flight suit that Hikaru is sporting (the pics are so small you can't tell) they look just like the normal hair figs from Series 1. Minmay looks no different from the one I have.

Like the title says, wasn't someone going to sell spare legs for the three legged display stands?. I've got two of the medium models, but IIRC, there was someone who said they could get the legs of differing heights if you wanted to modify the ones you already had. Anyone?

Hey guys...got another update from Paul. He just wants us to know that the black design may not come out completely black, and would like it if someone can provide a scan of the lineart images at 600DPI along with the hexadecimal color code of the blue we want to use so he can mock it up on a case, and see if it will look good. His main concern is that the small text may not work out so well. If someone has the scan, PM me. Thanks!.

San Fran? What about the stigmata Oh damn, I was born there! Well, San Jose, but same thing. Vostok 7 LOL, the stigmata . I guess that would be a milky white semi translucent liquid running from the palms of your hands eh?? . Also, the "I was born there" quote makes me think of Sulu from Star Trek IV, which is also ironic considering that George Takei is marked with the stigmata as you put it...

I did these in about 3 minutes using Paint Shop Pro's color replacer. Obviously, it is rough, but you get the gist, and I'm sure some of our Photoshop masters can do it much better. and the other...

I looked at it for a few minutes without ever rolling the dice, thought I had found the solution, thought, "no, that's too simple", then proceeded to waste two hours of my time overanalyzing it only to realize that my first imporession was right. In other words, it is so freaking blindingly simple!.

If we use the lineart at all, the cost will be an additional $5 whether there is any color present or not, just to clarify. Since we're playing with color swapping, why not recolor the line art pics to be Blue on Black, and then use the Triangle logo at the top? BTW - of the three spine images, the one with the Macross in the background just pummels the others to dust!.

Hey guys....Paul has been following the thread, and had the following to add... Artwork like the lineart would be engraved since there is no color involved. The spine and top would be done the same way the SDF were done. Both side panels would be engraved on black acrylic with either a gold core or a white core. The color of the core actually becomes the color of the lines in the lineart, but it also becomes the color of the inside of the case. There are a few logistical problems in combining both techniques in a single case. Mostly in regards to the corner joinery. But it can be overcome. If we go with the lineart, it will increase the cost of the case by $5 since Paul has to use different materials. Now, if you purchased the SDF case, then this will not really effect you since Paul is giving those who get both cases a $5 dollar break, so essentially, you would break even rather than saving $5. I for one think that the lineart is the sharpest thing going right now. But I further think that we should go all black, or none at all. IMHO, the lineart sides, and the blue triangle top are awesome. Perhaps we can come up with something else in black and white for the spine?.

Hell, they can keep the bombing missions. Supposedly, in AC5 you will be able to issue your wingmen orders etc. If that is the case, fine, let me tell my lackey wingmen to bomb the boring crap, and let me take on the squadron of aces flying super flankers. I'd rather get shot down chasing an ace pilot then tool around at near stall speed trying to bomb stationary targets...

I only recently discovered AC4, and am about half way through it. Hopefully, AC5 will have ALOT FEWER of the boring ass air to ground missions. The wingmen in AC4 are for crap, you have to accomplish all the objectives, meaning that in the boring a to g missions, you get to bomb crap nice and slow while they get to turn N burn, and have all the fun. Part of the reason why I'm stalled at mission 9, tired of bombing crap on a time limit.

I think the side pics are fine, except for the one with the guy (sorry, cant remember his name) with the glasses loooking down, that one is too busy, and that guy really isn't enough of a central character to warrant space on the keepcase IMHO. I would say, the side images, the blue triangle on the top, and Isamu skyward on the spine... When you think of lost space, remember that Paul can tweak these as needed, add borders etc, and that space may prove to be the best spot for our MW logo etc...

And if you shave off the hair, he bears a striking resemblance to the late Tiny Tim Perhaps Graham is the cover life for Tiny Tim after he faked his death to avoid the scrutiny and prying eyes of the Ukelele crazed public!!.

I just want basic functionality, I know at the very basic, he is an alarm clock, so that is all I really want him for since I cannot converse in Japanese with him, and I realize he is sort of Furby esque, in that he will learn as you play with him. Thanks

Just put your index finger over the top of the wing directly above the hardpoint and then press the box pod into place with your thumb, voila. Oh, and Awesome pic BTW, really cool!! No photoshop out the table, and stand, and make it look like the Valk is hovering there....

So far, I like NEWTEST 1 the best.... The Blue Triangle design has GOT to be on the case somewhere. It is quintessentially Macross Plus, and one of the cooler images to come out of that series. Also, a note on the borders. Were I you, I would take a queue from the SDF case, and make the case images as large as possible when you submit the images to Paul. he will undoubtedly play around with different borders etc like he did with the SDF cases.
