IIRC, they did actually complete 12 or so episodes or at least scripts of F91, but then condensed it into a movie. http://www.mahq.net/animation/gundam/f91.htm That is why one of the main problems with F91 is that it feels so rushed. Case in point, in the first 15 minutes of the film, Seabrook gets shot, and then 20 minutes later in the film, someone is telling him that his arm should be done healing by now. In the film, you get the sense that only a day or so has gone by, though I'm sure in the episodic format, it was several episodes later. It would be very interesting if F91 came with the OVA, I don't think it has ever been seen before. If Bandai found it somewhere, and is restoring it, then bravo!.

More than likely, you will be downloading the images from Garoquel's secure server once they are completed. You can then print them on any paper you want. It will probably work very similarly to DVDCoverart.com.

Garoquel has artwork already that he can use, so it should be alot less drawn out than the Champagne boxes were. He will be posting us a teaser pic soon.
-
Garoquel is willing to make us some custom covers for the 9 disc Animeigo set to replace the bland ones Animeigo commissioned, and released, and that most of us love so much. Anyway, if you are TRULY interested (unlike the ones who said they wanted a Champagne box, and then never committed) respond here... Garoquel estimates the cost will be about $15 dollars if you want a set. So, if you're interested, respond here... Thanks!

He must have heard about the white kid that was cosplaying him at Otakon last weekend, and it threw him over the edge. No shite, ask JROCK, he saw the d00d, and can confirm my story.

OK, Paul has high res versions of the cockpit images, and the desert spine image thanks to TLW, and BBP. If anyone has a high res image of the top image (which TLW says is a poster) please PM me. The sooner we get this, the sooner Paul get start getting us mock ups of the box design. Thanks d00d5!

I still don't get how people are bothered by stuff in Mac II, but not Mac 7. IMHO, Mac 7 went WAAAAAY down the wierd path, alot moreso than Mac II did.

JM's right, the place erupted in laughter when she got beaned by the spent shell casing. Come to think of it, that first fight scene in F91 takes place in the streets of a colony, and I have never seen so much collateral damage in Gundam. They were whacking civilains left and right, and that's not to mention the occasional holes shot into the solar panel/windows causing decompression. In a later scene, there are some people in a shuttle floating outside the colony, and you see a panel rupture, and all this stuff start flying out. Including a dog, and some woman's legs as they rush by the windows of the shuttle. NICE!

Can anyone identify this song?

Anyway, here's the file.... Trigun - End Theme Any help is greatly appreciated...oh, and you're welcome for the MP3 in case anyone didn't have it...

What I think is strange is that Macross II is not considered canon. When I watched it, IMHO nothing stranger happens in Mac II than happens in Mac 7 by a long shot!.

If they make a Lucy fig, she should be in a kneeling position, so you can position her right in front of Isamu. Other than that I would love to see some TV uniform figures, like Max, Roy, Kakizaki, or Hikaru in either flight suit, or dress uniform. They just have to do a Max at some point!

I've been watching the site to see if they will update the price at any point. Today, they seem to have uploaded some nice colored prototype pics... http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=341 However, no price.... And, on a slightly disconcerting note....look at the Battroid pics, see how they have those lucite blocks there supporting the backs of the heels? WTF?. Hopefully that is not an indicator if major instability in Battroid mode, but considering how spindly the legs look, and how topheavy it looks to be, I bet it is....

Welcome! I was really amazed, we had almost twice the amount of people we had last year, and you guys really kept the questions coming in. Everyone even managed to stump Neil a couple of times!. Really, a great panel. Hopefully I can find another reason to let Otakon let me do one again next year.

Here it is.... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...20entry183272

Guys, take a closer look at that stuff, it looks like the leg and arm armors are the old 1/55 stuff. Chances are, he's modifying.

Actually, it was Otakon that, at the last moment, would not let me show DYRL since permission had not been obtained from Bandai/Big West. I contacted the Panels coordinator back in February of this year, and advised that my panel this year would be about the 20th of DYRL etc, and that I planned t show the movie, and it was agreed on, and scheduled as such at that point. Otakon actually showed DYRL in 35MM back in 1998 or so. However, they failed to mention that I would need to get permission to show it from Bandai/Big West in order to show the movie, or even clips from the movie. Otakon has a strict no bootlegging policy, so showing the FX boot was out too. They didnt happen upon this until three weeks before the con, when there was just not enough time to try and get permission from a huge company like Bandai/Big West. I respect their position, with most of the major anime distributors having presence there in the dealer's room, and having industry panels etc, it would not be good for Otakon to allow non-licensed products to be shown during the con. In all, it was a communications breakdown, avoidable, but it turned out great anyway.

Thanks Solscud, and Duke.. I am throwing this in as the last slide in my PPT that I'm doing for the Macross Panel at Otakon. Sort of a little silent FU to whomever might be spying from HG.

Something I can throw into a powerpoint presentation that is 8.5 x 11 ish. Thanks doodz!

The real problem I see with that top image is that I believe the source is a poster, so it might be hard to get a high res scan of it. The other thing that is cool about that image is that even though the color clashes, it gives us space to put the MW Logo!. The bad thing is that we don't have the Macross Plus triangle logo anywhere.

I need this for my powerpoint presentation I'm doing for tomorrow's Macross Panel at Otakon. I would prefer the one that says 100% Pure Macross etc... Thanks!

Sweet, waiting for pics! Now, to find a Glock or 1911 that someone (IE Not a store) has that I can purchase minus government intervention. Not trying to hide anything, but IMO, they have no right or need to know. -

I should clarify.... I don't mean the SOCOM specifically, I know those are BIG bucks. I was really railing against the lack of features on the Glock vs. the USP. I really prefer the USP, but then again, the last time I dealt with these was in 94 / 95 when I worked at the gun store. Back then, there were no upgrade parts available for Glocks, and I am intrigued by what you mentioned. Especially since the same store had a used Glock 21 in great shape for $549. Please elaborate on Glock upgrades, and if you have pics of your lil gem, put em up! -
But... they look so stupid. And yeah, the VF-1 etc. wasn't supposed to look cool. Well, it bloody does. Well the last two monsters that looked like twins really were FUGLY and annoying! I WANTED TO SHOOT HE REACTIVE WARHEADS AT THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN! Seriously tho if the kept up the volleys of warheads going, they coulda killed them. Well M7 still rocked regardless of the ODD looking Proto-devlyn. Can't wait till I get M7 DVDs back from my friend! IM trying to convert him to a Macross fan! And yah the VF-1 looks freakin great! Dam its so sexy sometimes! Male Protodevlin....HO! HO! HO! Female Protodevlin...HOO! HOO! HOO! Why Kawamori? WHY? That was one of the times during Macross 7 that I actually found myself shouting at my TV. All in all, I stand corrected on Macross 7. It is actually a very enjoyable series, but IMHO, mainly because you get to see alot more of Max, Millia, Exsedol, and of course, you get to see Mylene getting in Basara's face non stop. But those last two annoying as hell protodevlin nearly threw me over the edge.
