  1. Jeez, that's freaking nuts!
  2. Did I miss a link?. Can someone post a link to his Items Selling page?
  3. That site would be helpful IF I could read Kanji. Til then, I'll wait for some MW members reviews. It's BIG, that's about all I can say for it at this point.
  4. Neat, but until dude posts a video of himself walking around the yard in it, it's little more than a treehouse.
  5. Nice bash, but personally, I thought the transforming "hands" of the Monster in Zero were rather lame. The Monster was cool as is. No need for any sort of transformation at all.
  6. Looks more like Battle 7 than the original SDF to me. And the Valk designs look alot like the ones Kawamori did in his pre-escaflowne days. IIRC, some of them almost made it into Macross Plus. Thankfully, they didn't. Kawamori had a thing for diamond shaped shoulders for a while there...
  7. Depends on what scale that railroad set is, but most likely not. IIRC, they don't make railroad sets in straight 1/60. Chances are that's HO scale which is 1/87 scale. They do, however make O scale which is 1/48, so you could pull off a pretty decent Valk diorama.
  8. We still have the longest thread. It's just called the NEW Official MPC Thread now.

    YF-19

YF-19 is a big plane. 1/100 scale is not that small. Graham .i don't see any of the gundam fans bitching and whinning about a $200+ 1/100 scale kit, even if it is a resin kit Now ya do! I assume you refer to the overpriced, and way overhyped G-Sys kits. I am one of the very few (it seems) who lack the shelf space or the unlimited amount of dispensable funds to buy everything ever released in every scale. I'd rather buy one spectacular toy...1/48 YF-19 or YF-21 and pay once, than be nickel and dimed ad nauseum. But that's me .

    YF-19

Looks nice, too bad it's in itty bitty 1/100 scale.
  11. Man, what will the lonely Japanese men think of next! - And here's the news story... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6717610/
  12. Found these on a fluke... http://www.action-hq.com/cgi-bin/action-hq/dai751412.html and http://www.action-hq.com/cgi-bin/action-hq/dai751405.html I assume they are part of a set. Does anyone know where others are available?.
  13. So, Max went and got himself a two seater eh?. So, I guess that's sort of the Jenius family station wagon With a couple of baby pods, he could take the whole kaboodle on vacation. I love it!. I love VF-1D's in just about any size, shape or color.
  14. Hey, I was joking! Besides, it took me two weeks to upload the scans that Alpha HX sent me of the YF-19 and 21 lineart. And I had em right on my HDD!
  15. Yeah, I guess you had to be there....
  16. Waiting for scans from *you know who you are* Once I get the scans, I'll upload them, and send everything to Paul.
  17. Well, even less response on the COM boards than here, so I guess I'm just nuts, and this project will hit the circular file.
  18. Sorry, but to me "thirty bunch" sounds like something you get at the florist. Whereas, "Colony Thirty" sounds like a colony where people live, and eventually get gassed.
  19. Yeah, nifty, but simple physics. Who would've thought that a tempered hard steel blade would cut through a bullet made of soft brass and lead??? And the American gun dude they got is priceless. Just gotta have a big, fat, hairy gaijin in there. That dude needs to spend more time lining up his shots, and less time lining up at the drive thru.
  20. OK, so I am an unabashed PG Gundam freak, and an even more unabashed RX-178 MKII freak. That is absolutely my favorite Gundam from any of the series. That being said, I often curse Bandai for not making any more of the clear armor custom sets for the non 0079 PG kits. I have contacted Rohby, and he is interested in the project. The parts would be cast in clear resin. I have no idea yet as to how long it would take, save that casting clear resin takes a bit longer due to the curing process. Mainly, I am just seeing if there is sufficient interest to get this going as obviously, more people means cheaper prices. So, if you're interested, vote and post here. For those of us who share citizenship with the Child of Mecha boards, I will be posting this there as well, since there are probably more Gundam nuts around there, but so I am posting it here as well for our resident Gundam fans. Thanks!
  21. Sure I am, I'm just never happy about poo that's intentionally botched. How can you be happy about dubtitles? The whole point in watching something subtitled is to not have to deal with fast & loose american "re-interpretations. Well, you sort of have to quantify "re-interpretation". If you mean the bastardization that they did with the American Adult Swim version of Lupin III which was just freaking horrible, then yeah, that sucked, and they should have been shot for doing so. However, IMHO, taking a sentence translated from the literal Japanese and redoing it in to colloquial English so that it doesn't sound awkward is cool with me. So long that it means the same thing of course. Ultimately, as long as I'm not missing huge elements of the story, then it doesn't bother me. Besides, I'm in about the same boat as you when it comes to my Japanese. I lived there for two years, but only learned enough to hail a cab and order food in restaurants. Everything else I know of the Japanese language, I learned from Anime. So, I don't know enough to grasp even 25% of what they're saying. Therefore, I have to go by the subs either way.
  22. Dude, You're never happy about anything!
  23. I guess it also depends on what kind of collector you are. If you want to remove them from their packages, then original Star Wars toys might not be the best avenue for you. I work with a guy who is a Star Wars NUT. And he has shown me some auctions for MOC figures that made what little hair I have left stand on end. Especially knowing that whomever buys them is never going to actually touch them, just put them on a shelf, and be replete in the knowledge that they "have it".
  24. Yeah, I agree with Blaine23 (yet again). You gotta give the guy props, he seems to really dig his job, which is something that VERY FEW of us actually do. Granted, Coordinator is one of those all encompassing jobs, and for all we know he could be the guy that coordinates polishing the wheels on Macek's limo, but still, dude has a job he loves, and I wish I could say the same.
