Hey Nanashi, how about posting some of those Vertical ones in 176x220 for the mobile phone nuts like myself?

I think the reason they got rid of the B-day listing is so that people would stop artificially inflating their post counts by starting the B-Day shout outs threads etc. But that was way back on the old boards. I wouldn't mind bringing them back, it's fun to see how many other old farts like me (34) are wheezing and kvetching around here... And, if that cake gets made for Con5, I will have to be there.

OK guys, the 1/72 Regult is being cast, so it's time to put up or shut up. As stated before Cap will still go ahead with this as long as we have 25 orders for the 1D conversion kit. I am going to tally the votes on the first page by member so PLEASE if you intend to get this kit, post your quantity etc. Thanks!

Ahh, yes, you gotta love the snotty elitist zillion dollar shotgun crowd. The kind of guys who end a long day's shooting fake clay birds with sipping merlot, and discussing the DOW. The gun store I used to work at had a few such patrons, one dude bought a Krieghoff clay birds gun SIGHT UNSEEN from our boss just because he called him, and said, Hey, I have a gun you want, price? a mere $10,000. Must be nice to have more money than you know what to do with. Anyway, in a related story, pics are forthcoming for what I am sure was the first ever Macross World Shootout!. The weekend before last, a few of us local members gathered together our hoglegs, and went to the range. We had a blast shooting each other's guns, putting a few holes in some specially prepared "Basara" targets. Afterwards, we hit a local gun shop, slobbered over some nice stuff we can't afford, and then headed back to my place for meat cooked over fire, and general anime dorkdom.

KIRK is the one and only Captain of the Enterprise. Without him, we would never have heard of "kirking out on someone/thing" and he had his own martial art style, I call it Kirk Fu. You know, the move he always used when someone would grab his throat with both arms, chop up and break their grip, then chop down on their collarbones = Kirk FU! Plus, he whooped Khan's ass not once but twice, first time, he beat him down with a flashlight in the engine room, the second time he made Khan blow himself up. That's a Captain, he doesn't blow you up, he pisses you off so bad that you blow yourself up trying to get him back!. And you have to admit, he had a way with the ladies that would make even Agent ONE green with envy. As a matter of fact, AOne could be Kirk's green bitch!

Yes, according to an earlier statement by the Cap'n, these will be molded in probably something very close to the stock color of the valk for those of us who lack painting skills, and don't mind a plain jane two seater.

UPDATE - See the 1/72 Regult thread... (keep reading for details) Seriously, with the advent of Eternal D's two seater conversion kit, I PM'd the Cap, and asked him if he still wanted to go ahead with his D conversion kit. I was not trying to discourage him in any way, I just know he is a busy man, and I do not want him to have to do work that someone else has already done. No offense meant to Danny's kit, but I am sure that a D conversion kit done by the Cap will be absolutely stunning in every way, plus, he has vowed to make it perfect transformation if at all possible including the heatshield. Again, no offense meant to Etenal_D, but when I thought of all the people here on MW that could pull this off, it only took me a split second to settle on the Cap as the one and only choice. So, I told you all of that, to tell you this... Cap told me that once he has the Regult in production (hence, I told you to check that thread since it seems he is almost there) he is going to poll us, and as long as there are 25 orders he is still going to do his version of the D Conversion kit. I highly doubt that we will have a problem filling that quota since the three or four MW members I know personally, and see on a daily basis have all said they are down for at least one. I also know that the completists around here are probably going to buy at least one of D's AND the Cap's kits too. So, fear not, this project is not dead. Cap is still willing if you guys are.

LOL, the best part about both of those collections is that they obviously spent THOUSANDS of dollars on all the games, systems, controllers, chips, toys etc. And in each case, they spent about $189 on a lousy little puny TV.

Damn, that's funny and painfully honest at the same time, . I don't know what's worse, them owning one, or the fact they are always stealing our batteries. It makes you question your manhood when start considering owning stock in Energizer. I was thinking more about how it would suck to be "bored out from the rear to reduce weight".

Nice stuff! So, what is the fate of the heatshield?. It looks like there's enough space underneath the chesplate/hatch. Also, can you snap a pic of it next to an unmodified valk?
