  1. LoL, yeah... I'm pretty sure that "Virgin Road" refers to the uncharted territory Max and Millia (and the Humans and Zentraedi) are embarking on due to the first union of human and alien.
  2. Freakin sweet, as usual Kurt.
  3. Waaa Hooo! Flight - Booked Hotel - Reserved See you guys on 18 June.
  4. Lookin pretty sweet! Makes me want to go watch Char's CounterAttack, as if I haven't already seen it about oh...100 times.
  5. What he said... The main difference between the pilot figures is that the Hasegawa pilot figure has a big fat American ass, compared to the Yammie pilot figures which have no asses at all, that is to say, they are flat on the bottom. If you sand the big fat American ass off of your Hase pilot, he will fit nicely into the VF-1 cockpit. You will also have to heat him up a bit, and bend his legs to fit correctly, but they are to scale.
  6. The Virgin Road first (and only) appeared in episode 25, strangely titled - Virgin Road.. It's the episode where Max and Millia get married, and afterwards, they fly their VF-1D Virgin Road valkyrie through the honor guard of other VF-1D (headed) valks in Battroid mode firing their cannons in salute. Of course, through animefiend or intention, the brownies that are sporting D heads are single seaters... Technically, they are both TV versions having both appeared in the TV series. However, the only real difference is the paint job. And yeah, stop fooling yourself, you know you want one
  7. Sweet Monday morning it is. The flight I'm looking at looks like it gets in around 10AM. Is that cool enough for any Saturday activities?. I saw the infamous Frank and Sons mentioned earlier in the thread, is there still a trip planned there?. Also, the Mari concert on Saturday night. Man, I'm so STOKED, this is gonna be a blast!!
  8. Great stuff Cap!
  9. Sorry if it has been discussed before, but for those of us making travel arrangements... What are the official hours of the con?, and is there any post con stuff that goes down?, or is it pretty much all over at X time?. Trying to decide whether I should book a flight out on Sunday evening, or Monday morning. Thanks!
  10. OK, I added you to the list.
  11. Cool, look forward to seeing you again Lou. Of course, the Macross Panel is still up in the air at this point, I finally heard back from the Panels Coordinator last week, it's still under consideration.
  12. Nothing like feeling like coming in the "Chimm". LOL, ya gotta love Arnie.
  13. God, I just don't get the people that go to at least a little bit of work to make an entire costume, and then phuck it all up by wearing the wrong shoes. Somehow, I doubt that canvas deck shoes are standard UN Spacy issue.
  14. That is one hell of a collection, but if I had a room like that, the only way I would post pics of it would be if my wife and kids were standing dead center to prove that I had actually kissed a girl once or twice.
  15. YES and NO THe second edition Roy had the updated nosecone that (sorta) keeps it from falling off when you transform it, as well as some updated wing flap connections since those used to like to fly off with a passing glance on the series 1 1/48's, and it fixed the crooked skull issue on the series 1 Roy. Now, the series 3 roy, was not really done to fix issues, rather than fill demand, so it has all the same features as the series 2 EXCEPT, we get crooked skulls again on the series 3 Roy. The nosecones fall off (during xformation) no matter what you do. So really, it's a question of detachable legs, or detachable penis.
  16. Congrats dude! And BSU, yeah, it happens. My dad used to get stuff like that for the stuff he did in Viet Nam, but YEARS later. He was one of the few to receive an air assault badge when the Army first (or finally) recognized that certification. Apparently, he did that kind of stuff all the time in Nam, but back then, they didn't have a purty badge to go with it.
  17. That looks SO freaking cool John!. Looks just like a production kit, you're going to give Hasegawa a run for their money if you keep this stuff up.
  18. That is TIGHT!!
  19. Just thought I would throw this out there for the East Coast MW members, or those that have been to Otakon previously. August 19 - August 21, 2005 Baltimore Convention Center Baltimore, MD PRE-REG is up, and... This year, they have ONLINE PRE-REG!. Act now if you plan on going, they are capping attendance this year at 22000!. Otakon Pre-Reg
  20. Cool, looks good so far.
  21. Usually those places only do it on the cheap if you order hundreds of them. I have done logo ordering before, and it is usually in large quantities, like 500 or more.
  22. OK, here's some info for d00d5 like me that are planning to fly in... Oh, and BTW, I'm in Maryland, just about the farthest point away from Cali that you can get and I'm coming, so the rest of you sissies better PUT UP!! J/K Anyway, EXO was very helpful, and pointed out that flying into John Wayne airport would be better than LAX. To you non Californians (like me) this is definitely a good idea. California geography is lost on me aside from the fact that it is on the west coast, and that the parts Arnold doesn't hold up occasionally slide off into the ocean.. So, John Wayne airport (SNA) is less than two miles from the Con location. So, that means if you come from another state, you shouldn't have to rent a car etc etc. Another reason to go... Accomodation seems to be plentiful in that area, and pretty reasonable too given that it's the ritzy rich section of Cali. Here's a link to the hotels local to John Wayne airport / the con location... http://www.ocair.com/visitoc/generaltourism.htm Thanks to Solscud, and EXO for the location info. All I have to do now is square away some airfare, and I'm good to go.
  23. That reminds me of the episode of Frasier where he gave his son's Bar Mitzvah speech in Klingon..
  24. PH34R 0UR L33T N3KKID SKILLZ!!
