That SUCKS!

OK, I am ready to finally finish this up. The only thing I have left to scan is the foldout on the inside front cover. Not quite sure how I'm going to pull that one off yet. I can scan both halves, then photochop them together, hopefully I will get clean enough scans to pull that off. Suggestions?. Or, is there a photochop mastah here who can fix the crease in the middle if I scan the raws?.

Having used both, I can tell you that they are both spectacular. It really comes down to which sheets you like more based on their content. They are of equal quality. I personally, have more experience with Anasazi37's decals, and they are awesome. From a customer service standpoint, both guys rock too. So...I don't think I helped you much to choose one or the other, but either way you go, you will be very happy.

Oh, I know, it will get out there one way or the other, I just don't want to be the guy who gets the "cease and desist" from BW. LOL, I guess actually it would be "ceasu and desistu!!"

So, now comes the big question... I don't want to be accused of outright bootlegging this book. These scans are nice enough that you could pretty much print your own copy. So, my question is, how do I make this available?. I have no problem with posting wallpapers that I've made etc, but I think the whole thing scanned should only be made available to those who already have the book.

I scanned the entire book, each file is huge. The JPG's are 1-2 mb each, the TIF's are 20 mb plus each. The images are of sufficient quality that you could resize them however you want.

OK, I scanned the book in tonight. 128 pages 300 DPI Saved as both TIFF and JPG 1.6 GB of stuff Whew...

Wow, it appears that they have gone to using clear bags now. Those don't appear to be bootlegs since they are sporting the BW sticker.

I think Hayao Kakizaki was referring to HIS pilot from his custom Brownie. The pilots coming from Yamato are Yellow.

I'd say color match it to the existing plastic if you can. That way, even those with no painting skills can still have at least a plain Jane valk. Oh, and for clarification, I'd like two IN ADDITION to the one I sent you to use as the Guinea Pig.

Nice one EXO, but don't you want to use my high res version of the Minmay logo that says Macross World 05?. The same one Paul C made for us for the DVD boxsets. LMK if you want it. EDIT - Also, should not the Minmay Skin be Test001?. Currently, it is the "default IPB skin" and when you switch back to Test001, you get the default skin. Also, the now default "Minmay" skin looks like ass in Firefox.

I scanned in a few pages of my Tenjin Valkyries book as they make perfect wallpapers for my new widescreen laptop. However I couldn't scan too many in without damaging the book. Today, I decided to take the plunge. I took the book apart, and will be scanning in EVERY page. Why?...well, because it makes cool ass wallpapers, and also, it's a nifty archiving project too. I plan to scan in each page (or at least the pertinent image) from each page at 300 DPI - Should I go higher? So, get ready for wallpaper heaven.

I'm just a caveman. Sorry, reminds me of the old SNL Caveman skit...
