Actually, it should still count. You shouldn't have to make adjustments to a brand new toy in order for it to work correctly without breaking. I'm glad Yamato isn't making the VF-25....

And the real kick in the nuts with that helmet is that for the exorbitant price tag....it was a hollow shell. No type of head support, foam, or anything.

Looks great to me. I completely trust Bandai to pull this one off correctly. Look at what they've accomplished in the past. Any doubt I had of Bandai's toy mastery was lost when I got my DX Yamato.

Got a payment request from HLJ....ignored it....lost interest in this toy.

Those aren't 1/6, the Misa and Minmay in the front are CM's figs on custom stands I made. The Minmay in the back is a 1/6 scale that you can get on TMP Anime's site. Somebody recast the standing pilot figs, I can't remember who. I'll see if I can find out.

The mod can be done on the hard plastic pilots too, but you basically have to slice the head off and do the metal pin trick. Here's mine... [attachmentid=42017] And don't bother modding the pilot to stand up, get one of the Seika pilot sharpeners and remove it from the base. It's exactly 1/48 scale. [attachmentid=42018]

Make sure to include sizes for those of us who may be a little long in the waistband...
