Isamu dying would have served no purpose, unless you just didn't like the guy and were happy to see him get greased. Isamu was cold, irresponsible, and his braggadocio made Kakizaki look humble, so he's a pretty hard guy to like. They never explain why he has that strange moment before death thing do they?. Guld while being very honorable on the surface was a hair's breadth away from being a murderer, and already was a rapist. Guld had to die at the end to redeem himself for his acts. Yeah, it would have been nice to see them all friends again, but realistically, that never would have happened. I still don't understand why Myung hooked up with Guld considering what he had done to her in the past, I guess the "poor zentraedi" defense really carries alot of weight . Interesting to see how many people assume that Isamu and Myung end up together at the end of the story aside from just still being acquaintances or friends. Let's face it, Myung has some serious issues, she's pissed at the world, and pissed at Isamu because he gets to do what he loves, and she doesn't. Additionally, she obviously has some intimacy issues, having really picked the wrong dude to have sex with. . And I don't see Isamu settling down just because of this incident.

Anyone know what's going on with the Gundam Arch Enemy Series??. I searched Bandai.com, and it still shows the Wing Zero Custom, and the Tallgeese III. Last I heard, they were working on the RX-78 and Gelgoog I believe from the original series. Anyone know if they scrapped the plan??

Hmmm, does it have to be Macross? If so, my most prized Macross possession are my two 1/48's. At first I was only going to get one, but then the low viz happened, and like Graham, I sold off my Chunky Monkeys to get more 1/48's, opting to streamline my collection to the best representation available of the valk. My most prized non-macross possession would probably be my Bandai Musha Gundam RX-178 MKII with Samurai Armor which is still MIB, NRFB, and complete with the elusive poster. This is the only one of my toys that I have never taken out of the box, I just can't bring myself to do it.

Certainly looks like a prototype to me...

Every time I get to thinking that we will never see real mechs, I see something like this, and I realize that if anyone makes them first, it will be the Japanese. Why else would they develop such a wide range.

I for one would buy any and all Mac Plus 1/48 toys. Especially a big ol' hinkin' VF-11B!

Definitely worth buying at the lowest price you can get. IMHO, it has invaluable scenes that were not shown in the OVA that really make much more sense. If you could blend that footage into the OVA, you'd have a great total package.

at full size, the least they could do is build some cheapo LED's and stuff into that chestplate, rather than the el crappo painting they have on there. Hell, for that matter, and if they were to offer this for sale, they should make the shoulder bars light up too!.

Remember that in episode 1, the mechanic makes reference to the nuclear engines not arriving in time, hence the regular jet fuel engines in the VF-0. Oh, and shouldn't this be in the Movies and TV section?

Yeah, but you can see the gunpod open up as he brings the Zent into position at the end of the arm. Max is no dummy, he isn't going to waste a missle at close range that could possibly affect his valk. Especially when all he has to do is pop off one round from the gunpod, and let explosive decompression do the rest.

Judging by Yamato's history, the non-limited version will be the same toy in a sligtly lighter shade of Grey, and sporting whatever enhancements they have made to the 1/48 line by the time they produce it.

As I said earlier, he must have stowed it that way at some point between Fighter and GERWALK. We don't see him inbetween these two scenes, so you have to assume. Either that, or the attachment point on the forearm swivels at the pilot's command?
