Good to see these are still around, they were a great idea 5 years ago and still are. I too wish you could get a multi pack or that they just sold extra pylons of differing lengths for a few bucks each as you really do need to mix and match to get more dynamic poses.

Y'know, we can poke fun at RowBoatech all we want but that is a pretty good tune all things considered. It's still in my rotation 20 odd years later. It was everything a schlocky 80's faux ballad was meant to be.

Nah, I'll pass. I think that was one of the bigger problems with M7 for me. Too many damned Valkyrie variants. With all the other Macross series, you had individual paint variants of the same Valkyrie design but M7 became too much like Gundam with individual mecha designs for individual users. These are supposed to be military aircraft here not a freaking Scion XB. And yes, I get "why" they were made but for me it never held water. All Basara ever did was manage to get the military guys killed. I'd call his program a failure. But the UNSpacy in their infinite wisdom decided to make a whole TEAM of ineffective boom box Valkyries so they could get an exponentially larger number of military pilots killed.

For $20 or $30 I'd be all over this. Not $80.00. There's no way on god's green earth that they can justify $80 for what looks to be an non posable chunk of vinyl when they sell a fully transformable Valkyrie for just north of $100. But as that $80 price tag is as yet unconfirmed, I'm optimistic......for now.....

Anyone know how to cancel a preorder with Atari online? The beta was cool and all but I can't see myself putting tons of time into this game.

Yeah, still on the starter ship and I've upgraded the impulse engines but it's still pretty slow. Poor Miranda class I wouldn't sweat it. I think they're resetting everything and deleting the beta characters at the end of the beta period anyway.

I've been playing the beta as well and I like it a lot so far. My only gripe is that it seems it takes FOREVER to get anywhere on impulse power inside the star systems. If you get involved in a nice big furball and get whacked, when you respawn and head back to the fray, half the time, the fight is almost over. And I've got the power systems tweaked so that I'm dumping all my energy into propulsion and yet still I see guys blowing by at much higher speeds. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, iunno, but flying at impulse aint gettin' it for me.

Oh, I didn't say that it wouldn't come in. What I said was that they will not be able to enforce it. There are a ton of stupid, useless laws. Try and tell a cop who is working long hours for too little pay dealing with the scum of the Earth that he has to go bust the chops of some guy running a kids consignment store. I'm sure he'll get right on it....
