  1. Has anyone seen or caught word of any retail outlets that will carry this?
  2. What are you talking about?, I can stop....... I can stop anytime I want!!!!
  3. In that case, I guess we should be glad that the rest of the toys aren't made in Japan. I guess if they were a 1/48 would cost about $500?
  4. When I left for the army, I put my Takatoku SDF1 in the box, and packed it away. When I got back two years later, everywhere the white plastic had touched the styro had YELLOWED. I don't remember what I ever did with it after that.
  5. God, I hate people who cant spell. missle origonal Anyone who would buy this item for this much from this mental midget deserves to get a missle right up their origonal ass.
  6. Though, I don't think that would be considered a different Valk any more than a VF-1A with FAST packs would be considered different from a standard VF-1A. The GBP was still mounted on a VF-1J. And he really didnt pilot it as much as just take it without asking, watch some Minmay porn from inside the cockpit, and basically get 0wn3d by the Zentraedi scout ship.
  7. Well, I came out of the laundry room yesterday to see my two year old had abducted my MG Alphonse Labor from my case, and was shaking him about by the leg violently. I told her NO, to which she responded by promptly slamming him down on the floor, and holding her hands up as if to say "I wasn't doin nuffin?". The model was fine however. None the worse for wear.
  8. We need a (not TOO graphic) doorknob lovin emoticon now! Or perhaps it's time for a creative Doorknob Lovin Lebatar?
  9. No, but it may make an appearance in the last two episodes of the current Macross OVA. Macross Zero. That's pure speculation on some of our parts though.... And to clarify what Pfunk said, The standard Brown VF-1A fighter is commonly known here as the "Cannon Fodder", or the CF for short. Hence, the "cannon color"
  10. Great! Thanks for the translation. I guess I'll just make it up since they don't appear to want to tell us
  11. Yeah, here it is. PG Manual Scan I'm referring to the chevron marking, the HY2M Gouf manual makes reference to you being able to trim the stripes to show two or three etc, so I guess it is some sort of rank system. Thanks for looking at it!
  12. And if IMDB is correct: Holds a master's degree in chemical engineering. Was offered a Fulbright scholarship to study at MIT He may be a shitty actor, but you at least gotta give him props for not being a total moron like Van Damme, or a total fake like Seagal.
  13. Pummmm, SPAK!! Justice is served.
  14. Best line in that film... Clooney - "Now is my crap together, or is my crap together!?"
  15. Aaaah, Lifeforce. When I was younger It was all about the boobies, and they are so plentiful in that movie, aah, Mathilda May. Of course, afterwards, I noticed that there are alot of really good actors in that film, like Patrick Stewart for example.
  16. Hey, you could always give it to your kids if you have any, or your 15 year old (insert relation here). It's the same thing as the uniforms that HLJ is now selling, their XL is probably about the size of a normal medium. But, as Mike Meyers put it along time ago in an SNL skit. Ahh, Americans ah fat and a razy!
  17. Nice, sucks that Firefly got a DVD set, and there are no plans to do one for John Doe which was as good a series IMHO. Personally, I didn't like Firefly too much, the whole sci-fi western thing doesn't do much for me in general, but I was thrilled last year to see two new sci fi shows in the Fox lineup, until they cancelled both of them
  18. What all has he claimed to do with the CIA? I've heard little bits and pieces but nothing with any real detail. He claims that his past is much like that of most of the characters he plays in his movies. He always plays the mystery man with a shadowy past etc. Check out his trivia section on IMDB Seagal Trivia And here is a quote from that page, more specifically from Leonard Maltin's Movie Encyclopedia: Seagal, who gives egodrenched interviews, enjoys making cryptic references to his shadowy past, indicating a former association with the CIA which investigative journalists have questioned
  19. Back in the day?? IIRC, and I am quite sure I do, Quadrano existed on MW for a grand total of about 4 months, and that was last year. I don't think back in the day applies here.
  20. Anyone know what the progression is of the chevrons that go on the Zeon mobile suits? I assume they are there to denote platoon leader etc, but cant find any resource online. The PG Zaku manual seems to make reference to them on page 11 of the instruction manual, but since it is in Kanji, I have no clue what it says. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  21. That sucks, 40 is still so young.
  22. SWEET! Awesome work as usual!
  23. Yup, I know how you feel. Especially, Seagal, whom despite being a total assclown in real life, is fairly amusing to watch on TV for free when nothing else is on. One of the funniest things I ever read about Seagal, well it was really more frightening than funny. It was in one of the larger handgun magazines about 10 years ago, where there was an article that told of how Seagal was training Police Officers in handgun techniques. And most frightening of all were the pics they had of him standing next to a bunch of cops who were all in uniform on line at a range somewhere. There he was all jeans and t shirt with big greasy ponytail etc, and most frightening of all, he had a badge clipped to his belt!. Scary when this guy has been able to pass off the bullshit yarns he spun about his shady past with the CIA etc into some law enforcement agencies actually believing he was credible enough to instruct REAL cops.
  24. Mainly toys, but like Monkey-N, I buy most of that stuff. Primarily Toys and DVD's though.
