  1. If anyone has the picture or could send it to me, I'll give it a go.
  2. Here are a few more designs. I made these from some Concept designs from another anime, but they look good in the Macross universe. I'm doing more, the boom truck is on the way as well. I'm also doing a firetruck design. need to fight fires on board ship. Let me know what you guys think.
  3. Good question Cool8or. If it costs too much to Print each kit I will be printing a master and making Resin Copies. (at least in the larger scales) printing in 1/100 scale is pretty cost effective. I will be determining what would be the best way to go after I get my test prints. Of course I will be posting my progress here and getting feedback from everyone on the forums. So I guess the answer to your question Cool8or, would be whatever looks best and is reasonable cost wise. I know that the larger scales will be more expensive. I will keep everyone informed.
  4. Thanks MechTech. Sorry I cant do 1/200. You seem to have done a good job with that scale anyway
  5. Hey Cool8or thanks for looking. The models will be unpainted. I have samples on the way, I'm just guaging intrest right now. I'm going to try several materials. I have the first set being done with the cheaper material in 1/100 scale. I should have them in a couple weeks
  6. I'm sure we can work something out Exo. I will be posting more before the weekend is out.
  7. Hey Everyone! been really busy lately and I finally broke down and modeled some of the Macross ground vehicles in 3D. I am in the process of having these 3d printed in 1/100 scale for myself, but it would be very easy to convert these to 1/72, 1/60, or any scale desired. I will post pics of the models when I get them But for now I'm just gauging interest to see if anyone else would be interested in a set or individual vehicles. Let me know your thoughts and ideas. More will definately be on the way but here are the vehicles I have for now: The M299 Jeep: The XM3002 Low Gravity Vehicle: A civilian car: And the Tow tractor: I have more coming, but here is the first taste, let me know what you guys think!
  8. Well there's something you don't see a lot of!!! Very well done!
  9. Okay well I guess I better get started on a prototype then. I will use 1/4" PVC if that's okay with everyone. It looks like there are already drawings. I'll just convert them and I'll try to have something in a couple days. I'm thinking of doing this with a doorway in the front. After all the valk is being lifted from the hangar bay. Well if I'm gonna do this, any input would be appreciated.
  10. That is Very cool! I was considering something similar with my custom panels, that is nicely done. I may still give it a shot.
  11. Hey everyone. This project is still kicking, I had to go out of town for work. Been travelling for 3 out of the last 4 weeks so I have been unable to work on the Gallant. I did spend a few hours this weekend and I will be posting updates soon. Thanks.
  12. Very nice. Love the weathering and battle damage
  13. Thanks for all the photos and info I may actually add this to my collection.
  14. Staying busy. It keeps me out of trouble

  15. The Hangar doors will open.i came up with a way to allow the builder to do that. check out Miriya's custom the doors can be placed in any position. I also will make you your own design. Miriya is designing his own hangar door right now and once complete will be turned over to me to make it happen.
  16. okay here's an update. started on the full blown mockup, got the middle section with all the cutouts. I'm adding in a cutout for the "clip" so here's some photos of the cutout section and the side that will enclose it so i can add electronics etc. i will be doing a bit of sanding to smooth out the contours in the handle and the middle column parts. I will cut out the outer shell and the "barrel" parts next.
  17. Well due to popular demand, and inquiry, my Wonderfest display will now being offered as a kit. The dimensions are 16 inches wide by 16 inches deep by 12 inches high. The kit comes with your choice of 16"x16" diorama panel (see above for design photos) , 1 side wall, one wall with your choice of door design, 4 supports and 4 greebles. There will also be a support base made of 1/4" thick plastic to add support to the walls and floor. I am also offering included with the kit an added door option. The buyer can choose any scale and a style they want and I will add in a personel door wherever they choose. I can also add things like doors and hatchways for a small additional cost. The kit will not have lights included, but i can help you with that if interested. The kit is going for $90, (plus shipping) but thats a lot of stuff for the price. If anyone is interested PM me. Custom work is always avaliable, the door styles can be seen below or if you have your own, that can easily be added.
  18. That's so true. I figure that when I am done, this will be a fair approximation of the Gallant. Watching the show did kinda drive me a little batty with all the variation. That's Okay Akim Thanks for the lineart!
  19. I have about 8 of these. I really liked them, but a lot of the little extras I had to get rid of because they would not fit in the scale that I was working in. And it can get expensive really fast. That's why I came up with the Diorama accessories that can be seen here. I actually displayed these at wonderfest and got a really good reaction to the idea and actually sold enough to go back to Wonderfest next year as a dealer. Everyone asked me if I was going to make my display into a kit and so I am. The nice thing about this is it's none scale specific and can be customized. Several Macross World members have gotten these and love them. I actually have done some custom work for people and so far the reaction has been very positive. I actually had one guy ask me to make some custom panel to line his shelves so that he could display his Macross and Gundam collection. I have attached a photo of my display that is now being offered as a kit. the dimensions are 16 inches wide by 16 inches deep by 12 inches high. The kit comes with the custom diorama panels, 4 supports and 4 greebles. I can also add things like doors and hatchways for a small additional cost. I am also offering included with the kit an added door option. The buyer can choose any scale they want and I will add in a personel door wherever they choose at whatever scale they choose. The kit is going for $90, (lights not included) but thats a lot of stuff for the price. If you were to buy an equivalent set, in Mechanical chain bases it would probably cost you over $100 plus shipping. Well check it out and if anyone is interested PM me. The thread also has some custom work I have done for other members.
  20. I am working off the Japanese specs, In fact I used the lineart to help me get the initial shape for the CAD drawing. I will admit that i Teaked it slightly to accommodate the hand better (okay at least enough to fit mine in. I am posting a Cad pic with some dimensions, and from what I have researched, this should be correct. The problem I have found with the Gallant is that when you watch the show, it always looks so different every time you see it. That makes it Very difficult to come up with an accurate replica. When I watched the show, It appears that the barrel extension for the Gallant is the same width as the weapon, but according to the lineart, the barrel is about 2 inches in diameter. That would make the gallant a very thick weapon and extremely cumbersome to use. I'm going to take a little creative license here and try to make it as close to the lineart as possible, but at the same time make it as practical as possible. I am also attaching the lineart drawing that I used.
  21. I was in San Antonio and all it did was rain the whole week. I've been there many times and I love it but that week was miserable because of the humidity. Thanks for your input.
  22. From the album: SC-27

Rendering of my Stargoose in 3D. This will eventually be made into a model kit in several different scales

  24. Sorry it took a while but my company had me out in Texas for a week so I didn't get to post these. Here is my initial mock-up of the H-90 the one cutout is to gauge the internal structure for electronics, etc. I have some pretty big paws, but i can still hold the weapon fairly easily. Next step will be to actually make this full thickness. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
  25. Sorry I meant to post pics and then my company had me on a plane early this morning. I am in Texas right now, I will be posting some more design pics for ideas / feedback. it will keep me occupied at the hotel
