Absolutely! any of the greebles, and detail parts or even hangars are available to anyone who is interested. Just PM me and I can give you details. I work closely with anyone who commissions me to do work for them. There are so many options, so the best thing to do is contact me and see what can happen! I can do anything from just making the parts and letting the customer assemble and paint to a project like this that is fully assembled, painted, and has lights installed. Just make note that time is always a factor. As you can see from Miriya and a few others, they have been really happy with the results. I don't just do Macross stuff, here are some pics of my Battlestar Galactica Hangar bay that I released at last year's Wonderfest. Well it's actually 2 separate kits that can be put together to make a bigger diorama. not my best paint job, but i was strapped for time! painted it a few days before the show. It still turned some heads. Enjoy!

I use this same material Justicar. I light coat of primer will really make it stand out. I use the stuff that bonds to plastic and it works great! I thought I had seen this before.

Okay, this project is way overdue for an update. Been trying to finish up the ground support vehicle project, and a few other thing to get ready for the next project on the drawing board. I've mostly done some painting, and testing led's and developing new greebles and details. So here are some pics of the painted floor sections with the LED's lit. I have also included pics of the new greebles that will house the hangar bay "lights". please bring on the criticism and compliments! All these detail greebles are avaliable for sale so anyone who is interested, please send me a PM.

I remember that we talked about this a few years ago. I can't wait to see what you come up with. There are always little things you can do to offset your costs on the printing though. I try to hollow out some of my parts to reduce the overall volume and then I fill them in when I go to cast them.

Okay everyone, just bumping this thread and reminding everyone that orders for these will be taken into the new year. For those of you who have already paid, I will be shipping soon. You may get them after Christmas, but they are almost done. -
Okay I have been a little busy, but there will be an update on this thread in the next few days. Keep posted
-
Got your email Kicker! I'll keep everyone up to date. I'm finishing up the Military sets in 1/72 and 1/48. I also have a few other things to wrap up, but I won't have the masters for these till after the new year.

I'm bumping this thread now that EXO and i will be collaborating together on this project. In addition to the vehicles, EXO will be doing some ground crew figures to go with it. I will try to pm everyone who has expressed interest previously.

I did try that before. Thanks for the suggestion though. I figured since this will be a model kit, i would ost here and bump my 1/60 thread.

tundrayeti replied to tundrayeti's topic in Model kits
Okay everyone, I have started a new thread in regards to the 1/60 scale stuff. Look for it here. -
Okay everyone, here is the official 1/60 Ground vehicle thread. This thread will include the previous set of vehicles that I have done in 1/72 and 1/48. EXO and I will be collaborating on this project and it will be coming with figures. there will be a set of Ground support vehicles that will include 7 vehicle and trailers, and the military set that has the APC and Jeeps. I will be doing the masters here soon, I am in the process right now of converting the models in 3D. So, Even if you have done so before, please acknowledge your interest in these kits here in this thread. This project will take a little while so progress will be posted here. Make yourself heard!

No problem, just send me a PM. I came up with a lot of my stuff out of frustration. I couldn't find what I wanted readily available so I decided to make stuff that I would want and other people too. I do a lot of custom work that is really reasonable. So drop me a line and I'll let you know what can be done.

no problem, I make a lot of parts, just thought i'd offer, Please post your progress though, always nice to see new dioramas!

Macross Military vehicle kit in 1/72 and 1/48 scale
tundrayeti replied to tundrayeti's topic in Model kits
I may have to get one of those. I did a 1/32 scale Galactica hangar and now have been asked to do one in 1/72. It's still in the development stage, but having a model for scale always helps. I may post that progress on another thread. -
Macross Military vehicle kit in 1/72 and 1/48 scale
tundrayeti replied to tundrayeti's topic in Model kits
It is happening. I know it's been a wait, but there has just been more demand for the other scales. My apologies guys. I have some 1/60 valks that need some love. I was just throwing out a number there. I will make it happen even if I get 10-15 orders. Once I get all the other orders done, I'll get the masters made, and then send them to EXO so he can do his magic. Trust me the whole point of this endeavor was to make these available in multiple scales for everyone. -
Hey Jason, Exo and I have been talking about this and I finally have had enough people interested. So we are gonna make it happen. I was gonna say something Exo, but I didn't wanna put you on the spot. And Valid, if you want diorama stuff check out some of my posts, I'm doing a 1/60 hangar for one of the members here. Check it out!

Time always seems to be a factor. I liked what you were doing with the Centipede though. Hope you get to finish it. -
Macross Military vehicle kit in 1/72 and 1/48 scale
tundrayeti replied to tundrayeti's topic in Model kits
Right now the sets are in 1/72 and 1/48 scale. I've been getting a lot more requests for these in 1/60 scale. So here is what I'm going to propose. If I get 30 or more requests for this set in 1/60, I'll go ahead and make the masters and produce these. So if anyone who wants this set in 1/60 scale make yourself heard here on this thread. once I get 30 or more requests, I'll make it happen. I'll post pics of the APC casts in the next 24 hours. Hope all my Macross Worlders in the U.S. have a great Thanksgiving Holiday -
I can't wait to see how this turns out! I love seeing different methods of doing battle damage!
-
Well I haven't really gotten a lot of interest in the 1/60 scale vehicles. But EXO and I have discussed a few possibilities. I'm trying to get my orders list cleared a bit more before I dive into that. It never seems to get smaller....... . Get the word out there to all the 1/60 guys and if i get some more interest, I'll get it done!

Thanks MT! I've been trying to get these out there! Still plenty of room for more though still need a few more orders guys! and just as some eye candy, I did this one for myself, but here in one of the civilian vehicles in 1/100 scale. let me know what you guys think. I'm also adding some pics of the M-299 jeep casted parts -
Thanks for all the compliments everyone. Well got the side panel done, here's a few close ups so everyone can see the door detail, oh yeah and I threw in a pic of the UN SPACY kite. ENJOY!
-
Been doing this a while. Jason your efforts are looking good, It's not easy getting some of those parts to fit right, I KNOW!
-
Of Course! I'll PM you with the details. These are scaled for 1/60, But I can re-size them for any scale. Just to elaborate these doorways will be going over the door areas that will be etched and milled out. I have attached some pictures illustrating the areas they will be going over. And yes there will be a catwalk for the door that's up a little higher. I'll have some more soon trying to finish up some other stuff this weekend and shipping some Military Vehicle sets as well but I'll have more pics soon!
