I have a friend who runs a game store... and he gets quite a few import games in. He told me that Sega AM2 was working on a sequal to their Macross game... and that it would include the Plus storyline. And that Bandai was working on an Mzero game... anyone else hear this?

I really like this series I've only seen up to 16 though... I like the original movie more though.

Dosn't seem like anyone knows the Sword of Light's real name... it's Gorun Nova. hmmm I guess since no one got it I need a new question. super easy Sakura Wars question. In the TV series was was Sakura's first title/starring role?

Non other than Maximilien Robespierre LoL maybe that was too easy... but your right. I could never remember that guys name in Social Class... when I wrote my midterm on the French Revolution in Social 20 I called him "that guy in charge of the terror" and got 98% on the essay... still trying to figure out how. Oh yeah... your turn.

Okay an easy one then. In The Rose of Versailles who delivered the congratulatory speech for the coronation of King Louis XVI?

The 0-9 system... in the dub they also called it the Oni system. don't know the bonus question.

The answer to my question was "the Otome-gumi, and the purpose was a theather school/Kobu Pilot Training facility" and I thought if time ran out, I'd get to ask the new question... that's okay though... cause I don't know that much obscure knowledge worth testing you with.

Okay the TeikokuKagekidan from Sakura Taisen is partly based on the OSK and Partly based on the Takarazuka Kagekidan... Like the Takarazuka Kagekidan the Teikoku Kagekidan is devided into different Gumi(or groups). In Sakura Taisen the Hana-gumi is the main pilots, Tsuki-Gumi is the spy network etc. One of the Gumi that offically exists in Sakura Taisen was only ever featured in the musical Hanasaku Otome... what gumi was that and what was it's purpose?

It creates a parallel between them and the Samurai who drew their swords the same way??? Just a guess there.

I'd really like to get a starter or two of this card game and some boosters... anyone seen it for sale?

Catwoman scribe onboard Transformers
lord_breetai replied to Ladic's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
This sounds slightly better Catwoman scribe to adapt Transformers Catwoman scribe John Rogers has been tasked to write the screenplay for a Transformers big-screen adaptation, Variety reports. The live-action movie, a DreamWorks/Paramount project is based on the popular Hasbro toys. It will likely be a franchise property. Rogers will adapt from a story written by Tom DeSanto, executive producer of the two X-Men films. The movie is slated for a Summer 2006 release. [Published: 4-Nov-2004] -

can we confirm this from a news source that dosn't put in lame joke into its "articles"... something I can belive more? -
Well, it we did actually consider that. But seriously we're not gonna put "big brother" or "brother". That's just so wrong, no one talks like that. 1) The Japanese talk like that... often they will just call an older male Onii-sama or an older female Onee-sama (Big Brother and Big Sister respectivly). It's a cultural thing... Also usually the Japanese would never call their actual older sibilings by name, as that would be rude without their express permission... they infact do call their older sibilings "Big Brother" or "Big Sister" if they have more then one they usually through the name in front of the title. "Belldandy Onee-sama and Urd Onee-sama" Skuld might say. though I don't think Senpai should be translated that way... senpai is senpai end of story. But I also talk that way... I have a friend who is my adopted older sister... and I call her "sis, Big Sis, onee-sama, onee-san, onee-chan" and very rarely by her name...

I can agree with that, if it's good it's good... at the same time I wouldn't get my hopes up... It's like I told Bsu: HG is like that father that tells his kid that he's gonna show up to the baseball games, the school plays, and the father/son games. But never shows up. At the end the son is just happy to know that there's a college fund waiting for him. But there isn't one. In fact he isn't really his dad. Just some guy screwing the mom... and very badly at that... All characters and stories are FICTIOUS and any resemblance to any person (living or dead) or event is coincidental. There were no animals harmed during this post. That's great... thats just golden.

Well that was random... she's an actress from the Takarazuka Kagekidan. Kagekidan theater is all female Japanese musical review theater. If you've ever seen Sakura Taisen the main characters of that a part of the Teikoku Kagekidan. So she's a chick... but she's playing to role of a man on stage. Oh ok. Well, ya never know about RT fans. RT fans? Did you read my sig? Did you see in my post in here where I said "I havn't seen Robotech in years (why would I, I have Macross DVDs)"? I don't really watch Robotech anymore but I don't hate it... and I'm willing to give the new one a try.

well no argument there... they are verry different... but some american cartoons have done well in Japan... the original G1 Transformers for example... was american produced but more popular in Japan then over here... in fact it carried on with Headmasters and then Masterforce and then Victory long after the series ended here. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... did fairly well in Japan again so much that the Japanese animated their own sequals... anyone seen those TMNT anime? Power Puff Girls... again did well in Japan Simpsons did well in Japan Disney always does will in Japan. Our Children entertainment has proven popular with children in Japan too. EDIT: Am I going to say that our cartoons are as in depth as Japan's no... usually not, with a few exceptions... I'm just saying there are American cartoons that have sold in Japan.

Ya know... I actually talk to the people at HG..... I feel sorry for you....actualy, no I don't. Me and everyone in Japan laughs at you and Harmony Gold. 1stBRD, Mospedea isn't popular in Japan... Nobody is going to care. I hope HG isn't banking on this. Besides if they make this similar to any other show that created for the US (kiddie), there is no way it will be popular in Japan. Amen to that statement! Right cause you know... never in the history of the world as an animerican cartoon sold in Japan... Or a Japanese made cartoon aimed more at americans... never... nope not ever never. (I can think of quite a few examples of ones that have however).
