  1. Noticed that too....I like.
  2. Actor Liam Neeson is reportedly bashing U.S. gun ownership again. Read more at http://www.inquisitr.com/1752501/liam-neeson-gun-ownership-is-a-fg-disgrace/#Fumtzo8jXbvuOosQ.99 http://www.inquisitr.com/1752501/liam-neeson-gun-ownership-is-a-fg-disgrace/ He can take his movies and stick them up his @$$
  3. Yeah, I saw the X-wing, you’re right, it is HUGE. I also can’t believe they molded the X-wings closed…wtf is the point? Haha, not really an X-wing anymore.
  4. Holy....shame the pictures on most Japanese websites are so small.
  5. Thanks for posting! Yeah, the Strike Valk looks great in the crowd....just adds a sense of "kick-ass" to the fleet. looks awesome with the wood deck
  6. Is that a 1/72 Valk you got there in the corner? Would have been awesome if Yamato was equiped with valkyries
  7. For anyone that wanted a studio replica:
  8. It's simple. OT used Japanese sword arts (with a few turns and jumps thrown in for flash) as a base for the fighting style. IIRC, Hamill had to practice kenjutsu in preparation for his fight scenes. The prequels used a lot of wushu (Park used to practice wushu) and it was used because it was flashier to begin with. I practiced wushu for 15 years, and iaido for 10, and I'm with Agent One on liking the "baseball bat" style of fighting for lightsaber battles, but I guess maybe it's becase I grew up watching it that way. When the zombie apocolypse comes though, and I run out of ammo for my guns, I'd probably grab my katana over my dao.
  9. Yeah, someone did post it earlier, but it’s still cool to see it again. What’s going on with that scene where they’re all looking at the IJN Yamato with the forest background?
  10. WTF, hadouhochinko. As if the Yamato itself isn't enough of a phallic symbol, lol! They could do a series of boxers, one with the drill missile would be awesome.
  11. I wonder if they are going to scrap the life-size props like they did the OT, or auction them off like they did for the remade BSG Vipers etc? I’m sure that there are some SW fans out there with fairly deep pockets.
  12. We're all waiting for you're build to top both of those customs
  13. That is awesome. Want to get nominated for Superfan Builds to get a 1/1 scale Strike Valk built in my backyard. Fighter mode please.
  14. More 2199 in 1/100 scale goodness:
  15. Here's an older display model I found with a significantly less amount of detail, definitely not the same model, but was passed off as a 2199 version: I'm pretty sure that Gunnap.net got the scale wrong as well, because they were saying it was 1/350 scale. http://www.gunjap.net/site/?p=82736 Here's a nice 1/1000 scale diorama:
  16. I think it's 1/100 scale. Looks very similar to the newest 2199 1/500 scale in terms of detail, but then again, I'm no expert on models, maybe WM Cheng could comment on a comparison in terms of detail. Looks way better than the last promo display I've seen: Speaking of promo displays, does anyone know whatever happened to that massive live-action promo display? Sad to think about it's destruction if that's what happened (same feeling as knowing the original SW or ESB Millenium Falcon being scrapped).
