  1. Looks like Amazon's selling for $146 now..
  2. Necro!!! But its true, looking forward to a second installment of this. Heard it was going to be a prequel? Would be cool to see wick kill three dudes with a pencil.
  3. No kidding, the Revell kits suck balls. And some retailers are charging nearly the same price for the Bandai kits.
  4. Good point! I never noticed the differences! The first one was listed as Meisho MOVIE REALIZATION Star Wars ikkou Darth Vader-death star tenkabito The second one was listed as Bandai Tamashii Nations Movie Realization Samurai General Darth Vader "Star Wars" Action Figure
  5. Sorry, those aren't my photos, just stole then off the interwebs....looks pretty awesome though, was at that comic shop on Granville today and was tempted to buy it, lol!
  6. Some sweet Vader poses:
  7. Man, these Revell kits look kinda crappy and the new toys that are being released aren't particularly impressive. The Bandai kits look pretty promising, though a bit on the small side.
  8. Seems like the new storm troopers can't aim for $hit just like the old ones, lol! Cool commercial though. Played with the new Kyloe Ren talking figure at the Disney Store, had a few phrases built in that might give away a bit more of the story. Any of you guys get a chance to mess with it?
  9. Wow, that actually does resemble a destroid. Just need to add a pair of legs, holy.
  10. That my friend, is the sound of music. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt! Would be awesome if someone could digitally enhance the original film so Blue Thunder looks like this when firing: and sound like this: I realize the A10 fires a 30mm, but Blue Thunder could have been so much more if it had the sound effects right, haha! So much potential.....
  11. Haha, I dunno about that. He used to cry to the sound of a toilet flush or me burping. He's gotten a lot better, but he's not a Jedi yet. So, her middle name is Skywalker or your last name is Skywalker, either way it's awesome! Haha, I wanted to name him Colt or Remington, but the wife said no effin' way, lol!
  12. Just for fun, I looked up 20mm gatling gun and I think the film and TV show failed to represent the true power of that weapon, lol! And the target: I realize that BT's gun was not the same technology as the Phalanx, but the TV show and film could have been so much more, haha!
  13. True. I'm sure it's been debated to death who would win, and whether or not either of these helicopters could even exist by their fictional spec sheets. Apparently the real BT was kind of a pain to fly, I wonder what about the RC? It's cool that the gun has simulate fire.
  14. Well, that's what I was wondering as well, I just went with what the OP posted, which I think is actually a quote from the film: "This ship is equipped with a forward-mounted, twenty-millimeter electric cannon. Its six barrels are capable of firing four thousand rounds of ammunition per minute. And that, gentlemen, is one hell of a sh!t-storm in anybody's language!" I guess it wouldn’t impossible because the Cobras carried a 20mm and the Apaches carry a 30mm. I just bought myself a bolt action rifle that fires .50bmg and that is a big, angry round. I can’t imagine what a 20mm round on automatic would do to the side of a helicopter, armored or not. To put in perspective, here’s a size comparison: Left to right: 30mm (guess what's loaded in the Apache), 20mm Cobra and Blue Thunder, .50bmg (M2) and 5.56mm (standard AR pattern rifle) And not to sound like I’m continuing to trash on Airwolf, because I was a fan of Airwolf as well, but can a helicopters reach supersonic without tearing itself apart? They just don’t seem like they could handle the speed.
  15. Would the 20mm rounds from Blue Thunder penetrate whatever armour Airwolf was packing? I mean, that’s a big *uck-off round. What amount of armor would Airwolf have to have, and still be able to remain airborne? I don’t know a thing about helicopter dog fighting, if there even is such a thing, and yeah, I know Airwolf has the missiles (were they guided?), but I’m still a fan of Blue Thunder over Airwolf. BT just looks so much more bad-ass. It’s so ugly, it’s cool.
  16. My boy’s only 10 months old but I hope he’ll like Star Wars one day. He better, his name is Luke, I $hit you not, lol! My wife’s Japanese and she picked Luke (and Yamato for his middle name - no relation to Uchu Senkan Yamato, though I sing it to him all the time, lol!). Apparently, Luke was on the popular names list in Japan a few years ago believe it or not, and the wife never watched Star Wars at the time. Anyway, she wanted to name him Luke, so I made her watch all 6 films (yes, even the prequels) just to make sure she knew what she was getting him into. When he was about 4 months old
  17. Did the ETA-2 evolve into the tie fighter or something? There seem to be a few similarities. The Republic evolved into the empire, so I figure assets, even Jedi-used ones got folded into the galactic military?
