In my opinion, US MREs taste a lot better than Canadian IMPs (individual meal packets). Have you ever been issued ones with a warning label like this? I actually got one just like this on my last exercise, lol!

Binge watched it this weekend as well, and I liked it as much as I liked the first season, not much for me to complain about.

Lol, my sentiments exactly. Reminds me of those lame veritechs that came out a few years ago with the glowing "eye", but I guess some people are easily amused by lights and shiny things.

Lol, I don't know why I keep feeling compelled to look in this thread. Guess it's like a really gory motor vehicle accident. Robotech Titans comics has AIDS.

Good to know. Those guys building the 1/1 scale Falcon should just put a bid in for the film set when they're done, haha! -

I wonder if they reused the Falcon set as theu did for TFA and the next film? I'm always curious what happens to these sets, like the Falcon, like the X Wings from Rogue One etc. I know the ones from the original trilogy were destroyed, but I always hope they preserve these new ones somehow. -
I kind of think so. There hasn't been much chatter about what Luke was doing standing there at the end of the last film. Was that his wife's gravestone?

Game of Thrones TV talkback thread. BOOK READERS STAY OUT.
peter replied to peter's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I’m pretty late on the game here, but I just finished binge watching season 7 this weekend. The show does not disappoint. Yeah, I noticed the instant travel as well, but I guess it didn’t bother me as much as it did others because the rest of the show made up for it. I liked that a lot of loose ends got tied up. The look on Tyrion’s face has me concerned. It’s going to kill me to have to wait another 1.5-2 yrs for the finale.- 316 replies

Did they dump the split wing? If this is the same x-wing: Then it appears as if it still has the spit? And this is the one that blows up in the trailer right?

I'm glad that continuity is something they pay more attention to now.

Wasn't it Force Friday or something like that? I watched a few reviews on youtube and nothing really inspired me to go out and buy anything. Went to the local Toys R Us with my 2 yr old today to check them out in person, and in my personal opinion, the currect selection of Star Wars toys sucks balls.

That must have been a pretty powerful gun in the door of the U-Wing though.

Yeah, that's pretty interesting actually. I bought the newer one from Amazon a while ago, but when I was in Japan, I saw the older one at the local hobby shop for $25 so I grabbed it, figured I'm not losing much, either slap it together, give it to the kid, or build both side by side, unofficially name one of them Uchuu Senkan Musashi or something like that. But knowing they're two different sizes, I really want to build them both and have them side bu side for comparison. But don't hold your breath here for a review, I still have models from 10 years ago that are still on my workbench "in progress", lol!

Hi All, I have a brand new in box Bandai VF-1J 1/55 scale. Someone gave it to me a long time ago, but aside from my original chunky monkey Hikaru Strike my dad gave me when I was little, what's the -1J reissue worth? I don't have any particular sentimental attachment to that one, so I may decide to flip it if it's worthwhile. This is what the box looks like (not mine, just a stock image of what I found online) Thanks all!

interesting updates. Are they going to update the 1/500 version as well? I have two versions of the 1/500 verison, one appears to be slightly bigger than the other, and has significantly more detail. And this one: I was thinking about just slapping the first one together and giving it to my kid, and building the second one for myself, but like many other projects, they're just sitting on my shelf.

How were the walkers in Rogue One taken down by blasters from the X-wings (or was that a torpedo?) and side gun from the U-wing? Did we discuss this? I vaguely remember something about the Snow Speeders not having sufficient firepower, but I'm not sure now.
