  1. You can sort of hear it
  2. Lol, sound like these things should be a stress-free ball of fun then, hahahaha! Snap fit my muscular buttocks. Looks like the 1/2500 refit saucer wants to behave like it's pain in the @$$ big brother, the 1/537. I'm not going to stress over this one, maybe just fill some really obvious seams, but overall, this 1/2500 K'Tinga covers some details better than the 537 version. Basically anything with a saucer will never be "snap fit" First Reliant model ever. I have never paid attention to the details of this ship, so it's kind of a nice intro. Looks like I'll need some darker primer to cover up the manufacturers markings inside the ship, lol!
  3. Next on my to do pile. Lol, didn't I just scream and curse my way through two AMT Refits and two K'Tingas? Actually, this will just be a practice build for that Enterprise set. So....many....decals....
  4. That was a really good looking build. Looked like he brush painted the whole thing, including the pre shading. This is a bit of a long shot, but does anyone remember a year or so a go, there was a VF-1S Strike Battroid, looked like it stood at least 6 feet tall? The proportions looked really good, like a scaled up Hasegawa or something. Wasn't just a big crappy fibreglass mess slopped together, this actually looked good. I think it was for some hobby show.
  5. All that machinery and precision work, wow!
  6. For a minute there, I thought you were doing an Astromech droid with battle damage.
  7. Lol, can't remember if I posted this here before or if someone else did, but this channel has some really good videos and edits to make this show better.
  8. It's probably been brought up about a million times by now, but I could really use a VF-1J in GBP armor from Hasegawa.
  9. Oh man, old here....had to google what a 25G was, hahahahaha!
  10. The Mando thread got locked..... not supposed to talk politics on this forum and that topic is straying pretty close to politics, so best to just steer clear.
  11. Yup, so well done. Going to I have to learn how to use an airbrush.
  12. Cool pic, but if I was Hikaru, I'd kick the other two hippies off my plane, lol!
  13. Well, it's a good thing I'm working from home and there's no need for that NSFW nonsense, lol!
  14. Oh, good to know!
  15. Maybe use a different word......"Remix" conjures up images of that horrible abortion of a RT comic, lol!
  16. Posted these in the DX thread, but it seems like the folks in there are more interested in posting pics of shipping notifications, and stacks of toys in boxes rather than the toys themselves. I'll admit, these pics aren't super interesting, but I'm amazed I can actually get the head unit to line up with the rifle scope.
  17. Good tip, thanks! I've been keeping it in its original wrapping package, but I do keep certain other items in Ziploc bags.
  18. Actually, the lighting looks really good already. Is it overcast where you are? Someone here told me that sometimes photos of models/toys are best done on cloudy days when the light is diffused through the clouds and doesn't come from one direct source, yet is still bright enough to bring out the details. I say as along as it isn't raining, take that bird outside and shoot a couple of pics with a cloudy sky as a background!
  19. I like every aspect of DYRL over SDFM, but I'm actually looking forward to this release.
  20. So, I recently discovered Tamiya Weathering Master. This stuff is awesome, great for simulating soot for guys like me who haven't learned how to use an airbrush yet. Before After Before After Before After Before After The Klingons found the remains of the Enterprise floating around Planet Genesis and decided to take a selfie with it.
