I'd love to see that thing animated.

I like both versions of the VF-1A head, but the DYRL version looks cooler. Between the VF-22 and the 21, I like the ugly circle-eye-thing way better than that stupid Geordie LaForge visor. My favourite head has got to be the VF-1S...but wait, we're talking about the ugliest head right? Then hands down, Basara's head...I mean his Valk's head is the ugliest thing in the entire Macross franchise. Faces should stay off of Valks. Funny, I can accept transformers with mouths, but not Valks. I realize Graham explained the whole face thing, as did several other members, but why do civilians need Valkries? That's like me buying an F-14 and flying it around for fun, or maybe an M1 Abrams tank with a happy face painted on in and driving it to work. What business do I have in either of those machines? Unless of course I was filthy rich, I could then do pretty much whatever I wanted with my money....Michael Jackson does do freaky things with his money.

The M7 helmet I hated the most belonged to the guy who flew the stealth-looking Valkrie (if you can really call that a valkrie....looked like it was going to tip forward whenever in gerwalk)

I hate the M7 helmets with a passion, along with the entire series itself and just about every aspect of the show. The original helmet from SDFM was alright and at first I even liked the flight suits but after watching DYRL...well, what can I say.....to hell with SDFM's helmets and flight suits. Let's just say that now I absolutely loathe the original flight suit and helmet designs. The DYRL helmets are probably very impractical (along with the flight suits), but one of the coolest looking helmets in the entire franchise. And since it's anime, I don't particularly care about it's practicality. It serves it's purpose very, very well...a very stylized design created for the sake of appearance. It's COOL.

Finally, you're using your head! Exactly. It's just a game and a crappy one at that which doesn't even deserve it's one thread. Who needs to relax? Who got all happy and excited for this game and made this stupid thread? Your a woman aren't you?

Some day when they find real women they will cease to amaze you because this type of game won't matter to them. But still I've seen far worse. Ya but I've been married 2 years and I still find this game appealing. I'm sure I'll get a beat down from the wife when I buy this lol That's cuz you're a wrestlnig nut and this game fall in that catagory (plus your obvious curiosity about it's theme). The play mechanics are nothing special in this game. This is just for the DOA Beach Volley Ball fans and not much more. Then stop looking for virtual fun and ask her if she'd be willing to roll around in the mud for you if that's something you want to see. If you're worth it, she won't have a problem with it. What are you, a marriage councillor? What do you care what other people do? It's just a game, relax.

Yeah, but the poll votes show that most of the voters want it re-animated. It'll probably never happen, but who knows what will happen in 5 or 10 years. Maybe there will be progams out by then which will allow any fan-boy to do it by themselves..... As for my opinion on whether it should be re-animated or not, I say yes. As long as they stay with the original soundtrack, I'd like to see it done. Some people say they want it done like DYRL...that's just the characters right? Or is that everything? I was thinking what if they did follow the mecha from DYRL....does that mean the ARMD platforms would have survived? What about the valks? I personally like the DYRL Valk hands better. Would Hikaru ever end up in a VF-1J or would he have the 1A until Roy dies? That would be kind of neat to see a VF-1J with Skull paint scheme. Woudld Roy's Valk be obliterated instead of being passed down to Hikaru? Would all the brown CFs be replaced with low-viz paint schemes? Would there still be a VF-1D or would they use the ostrich instead? Haha, sorry, too many questions, but I've been dreaming about something like this too. I'd also like to see (additional footage always seems to make people groan) maybe a few sidestories about other squadrons. You know, maybe Roy's got friends in other squadrons (I know, I know, no *ucking way this is going to happen) or even squad leaders....it'd be so cool to see other VF-1S with different paint schemes, and side stories about their pilots...... Well, anyway, I doubt very much that anything like this will be done so I guess I'll just have to wait for some really keen fanboys (rich fanboys) to take on such a project.

I bought set 1 of the DVDs complete already used and in good conditio for like 35 dollars in ebay. I wanted to get the 2nd box but was outbid, ended going to buy it at Fry's the same day the UPS guy deliver me the 1st box set I don't know if I was being foolish but I really didn't care Oh, I meant the first box set - all episodes.
