Someone here had an Arii 1:24 scale VF-1 they were supposedly detailing up, but I haven't seen it for ages.

The Transformers 3 Thread--A Michael Bay Thread
peter replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I'm hoping for a reboot. -
I know, I was as surprised as you. I guess a lot of new fans haven't "seen action" like the debates back in the old days when it wasn't consolidated into one thread. Ha ha, every week there was a new thread trashing HG and Robocrap, and every week, it attracted a fair number of robocrap.com fans over to debate about it. It would get out of control, flame wars started, accusations of trolling, people would get banned, threads would get shut down. A regular battlefield. I can get anything I want that's Macross-related nowadays. It kind of surprised me that HG hasn't withered away and died already, but Robocrap obviously has a few fans left.

Then you'd be left with one thirty minute episode. -
She is hot. I'd eat a mile of her $hit just to kiss her @$$.

It's reasons like this they call you juvenile. This project may not be perfect, but at least they put in the effort and they tried. I've seen this 1/500 several times now, and it's still inspiring to see a group of fans work together and put together something they like. As for your handle, it's a serious disorder that I'd wish upon no one. It's not funny, it's not cool. If you suffer from it, perhaps you should take your Risperidone before posting another comment.

Wow, it's amazing that this thread is still around. Figured HG would eventually die off, but there seems to be still a strong following. The last time I posted on this subject was way before this thread got started, back on the old forums. There were some nasty, nasty exchanges. I didn't have anything nice to say about HG back then, and I still don't today. I watched a scrap of Robotech on youtube the other day and the voices made me feel very, very cold. I tried to me open-minded about it, now that I'm a little older, but it didn't work. Just like Mac 7 and natto, no matter how many times I try it, it just doesn't work for me.

Haha, that's hilarious. I don't know if this is a repost, but I just found this and a bunch of others: "Flames, you gotta be *ucking kidding me." Oh my God, this $hit is hysterical. I was pissing myself laughing......I wish these guys would make a Transformers movie. -
Just visit a Chinese DVD shop over here in Richmond...I'm sure they have it.

The Transformers 2 Thread--A Michael Bay thread

Well, I watched it for the second time last night (no, I did not pay to see it a second time....nor the first tiime), and to help me through it this time, I rolled up a big fat one and got nice and baked. Surprisingly, it didn't make the experience any better. Two questions: 1. Wheelie, the horny little RC car....wasn't he that irritating little Autobot from the animated movie? 2. Devastator was a tank in the first Bayformers....was he rebuilt or resurrected for the second movie? -
Machine Girl was hilarious....can't wait to see this one.

Crap. With those kind of figures, Bay will probably get to do Robotech.....and even though I hate Robotech, I'd hate to see a Valkrie/Veritech look like a bunch of metal shards in robot mode. Isn't Toby going to play Rick Hunter? Awesome. What's with the poll? Do I need to sign in as a new member to vote???? -

I haven't seen it yet...debating whether to hand over $12 or watch the crappy Russian cam. 20% on Rotten Tomatoes? That's more than I would have given the first movie, which had way too many useless human characters...and that's what I'm hearing about this movie. Sam's whole dialogue in the first movie was "No! No! No! No! No! No! No!"...how about in this movie? -
I just pulled out my Blood The Last Vampire DVD and watched the extras - Making of, and there's this scene with Mamoru Oshii. He's talking to the camera, he's wearing this sweatshirt with a print of a dog on it, and the phucking dog blinks.....twice. I took a double take when I first saw it, but it defintely blinks. Anyone else notice anything weird/easter eggs?

Looks ok, at least it's still in Japan. Is it still in the original timeline, right before the Vietnam War?

Who's the biggest horndog in all of anime?
peter replied to Wanzerfan's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Ryo Saeba played by Akira Kamiya. Interesting trivia: Akira Kamiya also had a small role in Macross as the character named Roy Focker. For chicks, how about Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo? -
New Yamato Anime to Open in Japanese Theaters in 2009
peter replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah, I wish there was more of this. It was really done well. And yeah, as for the movie trailer, I got the shiver when Yamato came out of the ice....awesome. -
AKIRA LIVE ACTION MOVIE = Life Support?
peter replied to Macross007's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Thank god they killed it. They were going to update the story and have the events take place in New York? *uck right off. -
Macross that you haven't watched but you know you must?
peter replied to taksraven's topic in Movies and TV Series
Mac II wasn't horrendous and didn't need any illegal substances to help you get through it. It came out at a time when I was craving for new Macross material. The animation was decent most of the time (because it was OVA?), some decent fight scenes, good music (if you're into 80's style J-pop), and what's-her-name was hot. -
The Enterprise travels back in time and discovers the Empire....Star Wars Vs Star Trek: Requiem.

It seemed to have the desired effect though, most people in theaters had a giggle during that scene.

Who doesn't like Orion slave girls? I find they're always a good image to tug to.
