1. For a quickie non-pro build, those look pretty damn nice. Not many 1/48 builds out there huh?
2. We joined this forum 7 days apart, you have 15,524 posts compared to my 1,169 posts.....holy crap. So you remember what it was like in the old days too. I remember when custom 1/55s were the rage, back with a mint, in-box Hiarku Strike would fetch $400. Back in the day, if someone scratch build and produced a resin 1/24 like the one by mslz22 (which I happen to have by haven't touched yet), every member would be on it like flies on poo. Then there would be build-up threads like there's no tomorrow. The kit came out and not a single build up thread. The Hasegawa 1/48s got almost no attention as well. I'm kind of sad to see it going this way. Maybe I'm just getting old. Also, I guess you have a point about the forum being too seperated.
3. Man, this forum isn't want it used to be. Used to be tons of replies for threads like these, now not even a 1/24 scale Valk gets much attention anymore.
4. Man, just finished watching episode 6, sorry if I'm a bit late on the ball, but holy crap, what an awesome episode. Gotta love those type-3 rounds. I dunno what it is, but there's something about a nice big fire-ball produced from firing those things. I certainly hope there are more scenes of Yamato firing those rounds in future episodes, with different angles.
5. Holy $hit man, that is truly epic. Awesome build. Do you have any of his 1/24 VF-1 Valks by any chance? I'm curious to see some builds of that.
6. I saw some of those pics in the latest Hobby Japan yesterday, nice, thanks for posting because I regret not picking it up.
7. I was just watching a few episodes of Clone Wars on TV and thought it would be a great idea to do a couple of CG/animated series between ROTS and ANH, as well as ESB and ROTJ to fill in the gaps. Of course I hope they would be more geared for the old adult fans so the stories would be darker. It’d be cool to see the original characters in action again, and they’d have to do the series in CG because the original actors are obviously too old to do it.
8. I was wondering what God-forsaken reason would there be to resurrect this thread. I have to say, I'm not optimistic about a reboot with Arnie. Let's face it, he's wayyyyyy past his prime unless he pumps himself full of roids like Stallone, or if the story revolves around a 65 year old Conan the King. Another acceptable route would be a complete CGI arnie (like in Terminator Salvation....still recovering from how awesome those few seconds were.....best part of the film). Then there's the issue of some guy that's associated with the Fast and Furious franchise having anything to do with this film. Makes me feel uneasy.... I like how it skips over Destroyer and the Momoa "misfire" (haha, love that quote), Let's see where this goes.
9. I kind of liked Hershel and his unlimited ammo shotgun.
10. Haha, I thought this thread died, so, are they actually making this again? June 27, 2014? i figured after TMNT got shut down, MB might get a wake up call for his $hitty ideas.
11. Looking forward to seeing this thing, October 25th?
12. Oh, very cool, nice job man!
13. Woah, nice! Thanks for posting that! I was wondering how long it was going to take someone to try something like that. It ain't perfect, but it was a damn nice try. I think it would have helped if they kitbashed some 1/48 Yammie parts into it.
14. Nice work, would like to see more of your work posted here
15. I've been building one for the last 6 years, haha!
16. Woah, that was yours? Awesome work man! Any chance of posting some updated pictures of it with a new camera?
17. It'd be cool to see this game in person, but just looking at some of the screen shots, I can't help but think the city scenes look a little....off. The ground has no texture whatsoever (no rise for the sidewalks, just flat with the street) and the streets are as wides as football fields. No traffic, no people, no mail boxes, no street lights, no debris. Just a conveniently abandoned city, completely sterile of baddies and friendlies, flat as a pool table with a few boxes on top for buildings. Valks look good though. They need a budget like for C.O.D.or G.O.W. to make this game awesome, but all they got was enough to make a 3d Pac Man.
18. haha! Ninja Turtles fans know their property – we know it’s pretty stupid sometimes. I’m one of those people who thinks ‘TMNT’ was a pretty good movie – there were the Turtles acting like we wanted them too, we got the Raph-is-superhero story line that worked well. Sure, there were some wierd monsters, but Patrick Stewart was the villain, so – come on! If nothing, the Turtles need to be fun, and when ‘The Blue Door’ is fun, it works. It’s when it decides to take the majority of the end of it’s 2nd act in flashback that negates everything that came before it…that’s the crappy part. What can we do? Spread the word. Tell your friends: Michael Bay almost made a crappy Turtles movie and we managed to stop him by being pissy. Yeah, that might not be exactly what happened, but I do know that the new script is being worked on now and the best way to keep a inter-dimensional/alien plot out of the new movie is to be VERY. VOCAL. About how much this sucks Fans = 1 MB = 0
19.

So the project is dead?

20. Does anyone know what the word on Onimusha is?
21. No point, I'm celebrating the Cultural Revolution! Yay! May Chairman Mao rise from the dead and live on as the son of heaven for a thousand years, leading China on to great prosperity!
22. Personally, I think Mike should start his own 1/48 scale line, Valks included. I'm willing to bet that he could come up with a better sculpt than the current 1/48 valk.
23. Yay! Simplified Chinese! One of Uncle Mao's greatest achievements in butchering an already butchered culture!
24. Oh, I know, haha! I was just thinking how awesome the work was that he deserves recognition from Kawamori himself, haha! There's gotta be a way to get the attention of the likes of Hobby Japan, or Hasegawa or something. The 3d prints of his work are nothing short of spectacular. The potential here is limitless. His CG frame work could be put towards games, live/cgi action movies, the 3d prints can be put towards toys and models...... Man, it's an awesome time to be a Macross fan where fans are creating images (2d and 3d) for fans.....thanks guys!
25. Haha, the more I look at the poster, the more that camaro looks out of place.
