  1. I'm waiting for both of these to arrive at some point from bababobo00712. They were pictured at their website with tv style forearm missile pods. I really hope that's what's inside my package when I open it up or else I'll be a little bummed out.
  2. That's a thing of beauty! Please take it to completion.
  3. Don't know whether this is 100% accurate or not, but my Lord that's BEAUTIFUL!
  4. WOWZERS!! That's impressive indeed! Thanks for the pic Shawn.
  5. Looking good there. Man that white is WHITE!
  6. For some reason I like it tekering. You didn't fail imo, it just looks that way to you in person. It appears to photograph well though. Kind of reminds me of Takani's original paintings of the SDF-1; all sketchy & rough looking. Something that big just seems more realistic grungy to me. Maybe some pattern like a Star Trek Enterprise hull would work?
  7. The results will definitely be interesting to see. I like your rationale for going this route though.
  8. Looks like a toddler that took a fall running on the playground lol...
  9. I wish they would do the missile effect parts again.
  10. Man I'd forgotten how nicely that came out nightmare...back on track. If you can integrate leg extension along with that A-stance mod tekering that would be most awe-inspiring. That should solve the line art fudgery between the 2 modes.
  11. Thinking outside the box; or 'boom' in this case...I like this idea. Those notches + magnet system is pretty brilliant, just so you know.
  12. Man I can't believe how much of a difference just that one tweak made in the profile! The angle that you took those pics make it look just like some of the artwork I've seen before. Just telling the truth bro. Your laboratory works on the 1/48th Yammies alone was legendary! Ditto derex3592
  13. nb4m should know....the upgrades he did to his were truly awesome! Go on and make this thing truly bada$$, you can do it! oohh this will be fun.
  14. That SDF-1 of Tekering's is the absolute baddest interpretation I've ever seen!! Just so you know, I will be stealing that pose and wall mounting idea.... ….Oh, and the Yamato 1/3000 SDF-1 DYRL ver. is my pick in both categories!
  15. Keep what you got,,,it's perfect!
  16. As long as you can transfer dreams to reality to YOUR liking, then that's all that matters my friend. When things normalize again, God willing, enter it in some modeling shows and see if you don't get surprised. I know you'll improve with time, but your current level ain't nothing to sneeze at; trust me on this.
  17. Very very cool indeed! Are you gonna make that ammo/magazine clip that inserts into it from your sketch, or is it something that goes all the way in: so therefore assume it's already in place?
  18. I don't bother posting much anymore, but this?.... You need to feel proud of what you did here arbit, because as Kup said, "You've done an amazing job lad, AMAZING!" Even got big ups from the master 'MechTech' himself!
  19. And I'm holding out for 1D, Virgin Road 1D, VT-1 & VE-1...
  20. Gotta agree with nb4m on this one. I def like it better than the HMR; gave my Sylvie away as a gift to a friend. And got all 4 that I own way below msrp. Haven't had any problems getting mine to hold any poses in any of the three modes, but maybe I was just lucky with this release.

    Macross figures

    +1
  22. ditto NB4M
  23. Thanks for your diligence in keeping fellow collectors informed Shizuka, but I for one am no longer interested at these current prices. Way to ruin a good thing Bandai. I'll wait for 2-seaters now (if they ever decide to do them).
  24. Based on what you achieved from scratch with that larger one, this will really rock in your hands! Cannot wait to follow this thread...
