@ VF-18S Hornet- Those are nice shots of the Plus valks. That's some love you got going on there with the background editing!
@ Saburo- will be posting some later on. Life's been too busy to catch a break.
Sorry for the pic quality . Was lazy to set up my stuff.
Anyhow, just testing what it could hold. Ivanov is holding a spot for the VF-0D. I'll peel off the covering later.
Zero quad:
1 standard arm
2 double arm
4 XL arms
2 elbows
Metric hex bolt from hardware store
Adapters to fit
I bet you it wasn't the collector that wanted it sold. If I put in all that work into panel lining and stickering them, I would at least transform and display them properly for sale and not show them in that state. Not to mention have all the parts intact.
From what I read from the first post you're basically looking for the assembly kits? I'd say about 2 years ago you could find them for cheap but as you found out, they are harder and more expensive to get. Saw an VF-1D kit on yahoojapan for about $100. Dunno if it's still there though.
Polycaprolactone or PCL
"sold under various tradenames, such as "InstaMorph", "Friendly Plastic", "ShapeLock", "PolyMorph", "Plastimake", "Protoplast", "Plaast" etc."
Sorry, double posted so I'll edit this one.
A while back on Mr. K's Twitter, there was a shot of the 0D in the intial white mockup in gerwalk with a screensaver of a valk in gerwalk blurred out. Couldn't figure out what it was. Far reaching for me to say could be a hint?
It's funny though the reg 17D vs super set is like $16 difference. And my bad. The 17S was $120-ish. Was thinking of getting that and the super parts. Would've saved $100 bucks vs the D. I don't mind the looks and color differences.
Wow, Gundams are huge compared to valks! And I bet there's even larger ones!
Using that pic and the pic below as a reference to see how big a real life VF-1 would be.
All this talk about Arcadia vs Bandai, one thing for sure is that I would rather have nobody help prolong the life support of HG so that we can get both of these companies products here without jumping through hoops.
