  1. That's the infamous irspiff's armor for the Yamato 1/72 VF-11.

Wow! Was just reading that post. That was some time ago, before I joined. That's pretty awesome he made a kit for that though I couldn't see most pics ( maybe 1 still worked). He also had a cool Monster made.

  2. I know the licence is a mess, so it makes seeing this come to fruition nearly impossible. But what exactly is it about the Macross licence that makes it impossible? there's some kind of crap with Harmony gold, but I don't know the whole story. You don't have to try to explain it if y'all don't want to, just pointing me in the right direction would be fine.

But seriously, this would be fricking amazing. If we can see this in my lifetime, things would be great. When I have kids they'll get introduced to Macross, because I have SDFM and M0 on DVD, and all the other series on a HD, and a bunch of the toys...

  3. @ derex nice diamond! I don't have a Detolf but just got a teak curio display. I can currently fit 7 VF-1's on a Yetistand that takes up a little over half a shelf . 4 is doable.

@ Saburo what type of adapter is that? The 5mm peg?

  4. anyone who was able to get theirs? was there an instruction on how dis-assemble the Boosters from Super parts?

This is only my guess but there are 3 screws that need to be taken out. The front half of the booster has two cover plates that can come off exposing one screw. The front tip can be removed by carefully using a exacto knife to help pry it out. The next two screws are guesstimates as I couldn't get to them as they are hidden behind two cover plates and might be glued. I'm basing my guess while prying the front a little I could see spots where two screws should be to connect both halves of the booster. They are both on the inner facing side of the boosters. One is on the bottom rear most trapezoid with the two white stripes you can tell because it is the only one that looks like it has a gap. The other one is a small trapeziod shape as it is the only one there. Hope this helps or if anyone figures out how to get to those two out please show us.

Or if you're talking about the smaller thrusters, you can use a needle nose plier and slowly pull them out and avoid all the headache of getting the boosters apart. :)

  5. Also thank you to lechuck for the goods even though I thought it was a long shot that he still had the items! Easy to communicate with and the items arrived packed nice and safe!

Edit 2/19/15: Wanted to add Froy to the list! Products came in quickly and packaging was excellent!
