  1. So what I take from that blog is that they are still working on the coloring as those pics are not the final ones (those are early tests, Mr. K mentioned he forgot the white stripe near the cockpit) and they are soon starting on the box art and packaging.

  2. They gotta be issuing ghosts in the future no? How are we gonna color match the slotted tanks if it's not included?

I think Amiami was 6240yen via EMS for 2 0D's

  3. Good thing is that they're including new option parts for this release(hard point anti air missiles and leg conformal tank), hence they would be interchangeable with the 0D. Not sure if Focker's will get new hard point missiles, but most likely wing hardpoint propellant tank.

If they're popular enough, they should release the ghost and GBP separately, and then slightly retooled SV-51s.

The Yamato ones included those as well. Just grey/red missiles for the VF-0A and white/red (or yellowish like mine) ones for the 0S. The old Yamatos also had the slots near the feet too just not as open as the Arcadia . Maybe they was planning on doing one at that time too.

  4. New big tab beside the intakes. Any hints? ;)

The VF-0A on display at Wonderfest had those slots. Maybe to match the slots near the bottom inner/outer legs near the feet/thrusters? ^_^ Hmmm... Maybe they can re-purpose the inner arm slots and wrist tab/slot for the armor. PWS-0X would be killer.

  5. Nope. Send me one and I'll test it out. :p

Of course the test might be more reliable when I get a stand, but I can check if it will lock in.

    Fixed it for ya.

His smiley thingy ain't working. I think he wants to be a beta tester equivalent for a VF-25 renewal adapter... after he gets a stand and after you can figure out a way. :D:p

  6. Thanks M'Kyuun for the research and confirmation. I had a moment of panic when I rotated the turret around. I figured it was ok, the sensor lens side didn't look like it was broken plastic. I just wanted to have some peace of mind.

Looks like I need to retake photos with the turret deployed.

Don't forget to add the "hardware" you just received! I wanna see those too!

  7. im sticking to my guns on this one! Personally I really love the color! Yes the super parts do break it up a bit but it still looks friggin sweet clean too! :D

But seriously though how cool does this look! B))

    *snip*

    Looks minty cool!

edit: Luca's valk reminds me of this. Pretty rare color around here.

  8. Maybe because the VF-0 was a technology demonstrator for the VF-1 so it retained the modern fighter design cues. Also it ran a conventional fueled engine until they could get the nuclear ones. The VF-1 was what they learned from the VF-0 so they looked and said "we don't need this to be this size or we can put this more advanced equipment" and designed the plane from the ground up.

If you're talking about just how they look more modern versus the VF-1 then I'd say it's because the use of modern design methods allowed it to be more accurate than 80's drawings.

Edit:jvamacross summed up what I said above but I'm too slow to type and look at the recent replies.
