  1. Saw the Anymoon review and tried the fix myself. I managed to successfully seperate the intake joint from the leg and found out the idiots had glued the ball nub (as I am calling it) to the metal, and did not let it dry as they connected the ball joint to the plastic piece that connecto the intake. Had to use pliers to get the nub loose. Now I gotta figure out what glue to apply to plastic and metal, get some sandpaper, the nub is a little rough.

Yes! Great to see the Vaseline shots again! I hope you can get it back in shape as I know you were saving up for it.

Edit: Since this is the top of the next page here's another pic:

  2. Would putting the camera on a ball joint type work? That way you have 3axis of movement. You just gotta split the socket joint between the halves. One of the disadvantages I guess is that you can't get it centered perfectly and maybe durability issues over time due to wear.

  3. I thought the valks in Plus only had Fast packs (with the exception to the VF-11) not supers.

I would consider the YF-19 mounted with the VF-11 style boosters as the super version.

Just got the Advance in so I can't wait to unbox it.

  4. I'm seriously considering the Hi-Metal line to fill out my VF-1 Collection, seeing as they seem far more available than the 1/60th toys. I'd love to have A GBP VF-1 set, but arcadia's is darn near $300 now, and will probably only keep rising.

$300, Yikes! Where did you find that price for the GBP set, Ebay? You can find the set starting at $182-ish plus shipping here (As of 0237 it's still open) and some other stores.

As for the availability, I hope more orders open up on release because the Bandai preorder madness ain't cutting it for me.

  5. There's also another unknown valk shown in frontier movie 2, at the beginning of the movie, in the commercial mall there are 2 commercials running on the background TVs. In one of these a valk is shown with pink accents if I remember well. Don't know which one it is...

Is that the fold crystal headed VF-25ish valk? I call it that as it has a red head and antenna that looks like the fold crystal jewelry. It also reminds me of an Aquarion -ish head. The wing roots look a little different. Scratch that, it was Valk #2 below.

There are a couple more vf-25 repaints they can milk from the 2nd movie if they wanted to:

    1. A yellow colored valk with pink stars with silver glitter borders

    2. A white/blue and pink/red highlights valk with supers itasha style (angel birds version?)

    3. An all black version

    4. The YF-24 of course

  6. Haha! Merge the thread titles together. Yours is way better. Don't know any japanese and all I saw was Cosmo Fleet Special so I thought it was a generic name. Didn't realize it was the product line as I have never collected this series. Hopefully they release the arms later on.

  7. Hey Guys i need your help what do you think of chances of a Renewal version for this Valkyrie. I've never heard of evolution toys Do they Re-release a lot of toys over the years in past history making small improvements?

It all depends on how the sales of this valk goes I guess. This being a company new into the Macross line, I think that if the sales are good then yes you might see small improvements to the next model. As for renewals it's too early to tell, I say that they won't do a renewal version. Take a look at their product lineup if you're curious http://evolution-toy.com/products/index.html

  8. Yeah i guess so.. but you'd also have up swap out the vertical stabilizer assembly too. But would the 0D cockpit section actually be any wider than the 0A?

I don't think it would be wider. I know it's narrower than the Yamato ones. Pretty easy disassembly on the Arcadia.
