  1. They want everyone to get the super/strike parts set that will come out because of this. Plus, it'll only have the regular adapter to balance it out. Well played Bandai...

  2. They didn't as of yet. Only Yamato.

If you're curious and want more info on what toys were released you can check out the "Macross Toy Release" thread which is the 2nd post pinned on top of the toys forum. It gives a breakdown by company, size, and date of release.

  3. hlj. Standard box in a box surrounded by air pillows.

So as I said before, this is my first arcadia. And I have to say, i'm a little disappointed. It lacks heft, feels fragile. I changed it into battroid and thought i was going to snap everything off. poseability is just OK, the gunpod is flimsy and doesn't sit well in the hands which kind of limits the posing you can do with it. proportions look nice but honestly i care about that the least. i dunno what i expected, really, i just thought maybe.....just a little bit more for the 200+ dollars.

Were the old Yamato v2s better or worse than the current Arcadias? Maybe I should hunt those instead.

Sorry to hear that. I'm surprised you didn't get a Yamato one. Do you or did you own a chunky monkey? I manhandle my valks so they look fragile but are durable. As for the gunpod, which part is flimsy? The handgrip itself or the rear? Also, is the articulated hand gripping it all the way closed? When set up correctly mine doesn't move at all.

Edit: Sorry, was too slow to type when the above posts popped up.

  4. Sort of a newbie to collecting Macross Valkyries, specifically Super/Strike Valkyries... what are the "3 top leg armor parts?"

It was meant to be a joke. The top leg armor parts is supposed to be the "calf" or rear of the leg armor. Someone mentioned the other super part tip for the booster was missing not realizing that the part was next to the leg armor parts and not a 3rd leg armor. If you ordered one you should be good.

Welcome to the forums. If you need to more info/reviews on valks you can check out anymoon.com. There are many more sites out there but I think that site has a lot of comparison pics to help you. You can also look through the newbie thread that's on the top of this forum.

  5. AmiAmi preorders are stories parents tell their children.

Stuff of legends...right up there with the fabled Hobbysearch preorder.

Anywho, anyone preordered via Loopaza? As much as would've rather waited for a discount I got one through them as I was at work during PO time and due to the unpredictable nature of the job, couldn't be positive that I'd be able to log in at that time. We'll see how it pans out I guess.
