You are correct Chronocidal. That particular one is a custom made 1/72 VF-31F using the J and S parts as it wasn't released at that time. That's why it looks different than the 1/72 head above. It was on display at the C3Tokyo show along with the other 4 main VF-31s . Using google translate (from 1st pic): 1. Put the chest armor unit on the chest of the Battroid main body. Please let me know the condition of the top of the part as shown in the picture. 2.While holding down the back of Battroid, please push the chest missile hatch point enclosed with O backwards. (It would be good to hold it with the index finger and thumb...) then you will hear a clicking "catch" caught on the sub intake. I guess they had their own way of doing it differently from the manual. Also, could anyone who has it in hand please post pics of the packaging box from all angles. Arcadia said there was some kind of error of the product pic on the left side. I was just curious as to what the error was. Edit: Figured it out. They used or forgot the right side product image underneath of the left side product image.

Looking good. Just gotta paint the shoulders, tip of the tail fins, and upper thigh area blue, upper arms and mid thigh/kneecap white, delete the red stripe, flip the colors of the small fins on the legs, and delete the yellow.

It would be the most logical choice following the VF-0 series. Hahaha, looks like someone looking down with left arm bent and setting up a display.

For anybody else that wants to know about multiple preorders with different release dates at NY (from their terms and conditions section): CAUTION: All the orders with items in stock ordered with an item in pre-order will be sent with the pre-order. (The item in stock will be in the same package as the pre-order.) In this case, payment is required at time of order. That looks pretty good custom horizons mod. Somebody did Hayate and Mirage's VF-1's for the F-14.

That's a GK maker that did harder to find valks in 1/100 scale. He made a 1/72 VF-5000 last year.

I asked Shawn in the feedback thread about the pinned threads as they had disappeared in the toys section. Here is his response below. The trick now is how to find them as I found some of the threads but not others.

I need a beach scene with all the females in swimsuits like the pic. Followed by an introduction of a species with tentacles that grows larger the more it gathers energy via physical "touch". Make it grow large enough where they need to call in all the valks and destroids where a massive battle scene ensues which makes the aliens multiply then combine which causes the Macross Elysion to appear and launches VF-31As with the new "stinger" armored packs and fires the Macross cannon to little effect. While that's going on, have someone figure out that these things can be reverted back via singing. Insert walkure singing and the aliens revert back to normal.... ....which causes a dissolve to a Chuck lying in a sea of beer cans and jellyfish jerky waking up with a hangover saying "Maybe I shouldn't have done that" Make whatever "plot" that can make this scene happen!
