Thanks everyone. I'm just glad the C was done. There's no issue with the fuselage. If you just swap the nose there will be issues as the A chest won't fit the D canopy. However, I swapped out all the parts necessary to make it work. You need to swap out the nose section. Then you remove that whole chest section by removing a pin on each side of the hinge followed by splitting apart the chest piece via screws and gentle persuasion then putting the lower section of it with the indent on the C and vice versa for the B. Reinstall on each then you're done with the hard part. Just pop and swap the heads and those flip up head covers next to the front landing gear. If anyone's gonna try it let me know and I'll see what I can do to help. -
Looks like the cockpit, forward intake, wings, and tailfin have a different accent color for each except the twins. Plus you gotta swap the canopy, left thigh, and wing decals.

I'm gonna call the VF-0C done. The VF-0B needs decals and stickers. I forgot to attach the antenna but I like how it looks without it anyways. Bonus WIP. Happy Birthday Isamu! Let's go old girl! -
Ammo for the cannons. Regular or extended.

Piece of cake for the experienced modeler. This was my 1st try at a model anything. There's minimum gluing needed (only to close the gear doors shut). Most of it is held by screws or friction. Edit: The assembly instructions are in the 1st post if you wanna take a look to judge.
-
I think that was the modeller's preference. The main colors for that model looks like light ghost grey which is a bluish color.

What?! Eyes not blue? Preorder cancelled! Mirage's valk redish? Preorder cancelled! Chuck's valk might be last and his radar will be shown as round and not oval? Preorder cancelled!

Nope. Just one of each though you need to swap a couple of parts out to make it work.
-
I will for the photo shoot. I'll have all 3 modes for both of them. I already was moving all the parts around to see if there would be any rubbing. The only parts I see are the backpack area and shoulder plates. That Tamiya spray is pretty tough. Tougher than the acrylic one.
-
Assembly kits would be nice option for the customizers out there. I'd prefer ready made if possible though..
-
Tidying up here and there. Sprayed the valk TS-80 Flat clear to tone down the gloss. Reassembled everything back together. Will paint the pilot and decal next then do a proper photo shoot later on. Don't mind the crooked missile pods. I'll redo the bases so it fits better. I might redo the head laser to match the grey.

Thanks for the offers but both of these babies have already reserved spaces taken up by my old Yamato VF-0s (I'll probably just do custom paint jobs on those). Spanner: I bet if you gave Lancelot a VF-0D and VF-0A he could do it better. Xigfrid: Before deciding on the Master files VF-8 scheme I was gonna do a VF-101 grim reapers scheme but changed my mind.

Did you try looking at the link below? The YF-21 links work from the 1st page of this thread. The VF-1A supers still don't though. Just type it in like this http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/1457-23 in the address bar. Second number 1st followed by dash then first number.

Looking forward to the pics! -
Sure, I just need to make 2 more for you though.

I thought the VF-1D 2 seater was same level seats with no hump and the VE-1 and VT-1 had a raised theater seating with hump? I can see doing a Virgin road or CF along with the VF-1D though

Maybe the middle part of the wings hits the shoulders? You can kinda spread the inner wing parts down till the middle almost touches the shoulders but I wonder if you can move it away from them just enough to clear it? I'd rock it like this:
