Ouch! Glad that they survived for the most part. Shapeways part should be doable. -

It got me thinking "What happens if it has to back up?"

Just a heads up for folks on the fence that the PO for the Premium version will close in 11.5 hours. Dunno if it's for the regular version also. NY orders are already closed.

That's via proxy correct? What are the service fees? The regular one is sold out. Proxy: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEODAI-17421 Regular: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOGDS-230584

Using MW Dark_Default. There is a section on top that says complete profile and shows 0%. Clicked button and it sends me to a 2 step process where the 1st is to enter old your MW profile/post count. I didn't have one so I click the skip this step. Step 2 goes to saved but process still shows up at 0%. I just ended up hitting the dismiss button. Is the profile process longer than the 2 steps or did I miss something? -

Is that the top piece? Open the missile hatch and look under the blue area where the outer silver piece would be if it was closed. It should have either a triangle or triangle with underline. Both parts are not the same as the front area is different. Triangle only is topside. The more detailed the info provided the better picture to paint for others to try and troubleshoot.

It's super easy to install. Make sure they're all in the correct place. There are arrows pointing inside to the fuselage to which wing they should go with the ones with the line meant for underneath. It's located on the inside near the top missiles. Open the missile bay hatch by sliding the silver part forward to make it easier to open the hatch. With the hatch open, hook the lower rear part 1st, slide the silver part back, then push down the front then check the back. You should be able to feel when the front pegs in. If you did it correctly the parts are locked in solid.

Ahaha! I got it now! And here I thought it was the 73rd day of the year (it is) but something else is supposed to happen at this time March 14, 2021. This timer feature would be good for releases. Could multiple timers appear and/or made for each section (one for toys, models, media etc.)? Edit: Timer only appears using the MW Dark_Default though. It's not visible in the others or am I not looking in the right area? -
I don't like the stadium seating on the VE-1 and VT-1 without the packs. Too bulbous for me. Would prefer the VF-1D style. Whale hunter customs would be cool.

Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.

Mandarake won't help you if it's uninsured or under declared. Registered small packet is insured up to 6000yen. If it's International Postage Parcel, did you buy the 400yen insurance option? It's good up to 20000yen. -

NY should open pretty soon I think.

I'll try to answer your questions. The front section is blue. t entire valk was 1st wiped with Simple green on a microfiber cloth, dried, then hit with a couple coats of Tamiya White Primer. I sprayed at least 2 coats of paint after giving it a mist base coat. I couldn't tell of any difference in tone though my eyes are bad so maybe there was some. I used Tamiya sprays for this. Tamiya AS-20 Insignia white, TS-8 Italian red, TS-63 Nato black, and Tamiya Fine Primer grey for the back of the legs was used for this valk. TS-13 Clear then TS-79 Semi Clear was the clears. These Can Sprays seam pretty scratch resistant to me but that's just my own opinion. The only place that was giving me a hard time was the pitot tubes as for some reason the paints didn't want to stick on. Maybe it's a different type of plastic used. I think I should've used some fine sandpaper first to give it some bite. The 001s, red triangles, intake warnings and tail emblems were waterslide decals. The rest was sprayed using vinyl stencils or taped off.

I forgot to mention that the pic was from Arcadia's blog right after WonderFest. I thought people knew about as it was brought up before ( or am I imagining that part?). Edit: Found it in here. We'll see if it's the same as Hasegawa's or their own spin.
-
I think they'll official unveil it at the Super Space time Ochestra 9/17. All I know is it's gonna be a VF-1J.
-
I think the clear piece also helps take off stress from the front pivot part of the wing. It looks like if the wingtips could fold a little more at a vertical angle, it could go on it's gears with the ghost's bottom wings folded all the way. Some places I hope hold are the pivots for the ghosts and the pegs as it seems the ghost tend to pop out on me. They fit under the wing.

Got the supers in. To me, you can leave out the clears if you're gonna leave it displayed in fighter on a stand and not touch it. If your gonna swoosh it around, I'd use the clear parts just for the extra support.

It's the regular version. The premium version will have Japanese writing usually on the lower left stating tampo printing even though it's the same picture. Regular: Premium:
