True. I wish I knew about all of this before. The only macross items I remembered seeing way back when was the chunky monkeys! Now I gotta pay the price or wait for possible releases from Arcadia. -
I know there is a transformable 1/100 scale kit for the VF-5000 so I think it's doable. I don't know if the VF-14 has a tranformable kit or not but that would be a nice addition. I think the VF-3000 is too VF-1 looking (albeit more beefed up) that I would pass on getting it. There was also a VB-3 kit so maybe that could be in the works, I would get one just because it looks very different. I'd laugh if they had some type of whale hunter variants coming out.

I wonder if they are planning to do a VF-5000. To bridge the time of the VF-1 to the VF-11. They already did the VF-4 so I'll just have to wait and see.

Just got into the collecting thing since August. From what I read around here is Yamato shut down and Arcadiatook over and has some of the mold designs from the different series. They also created a new 1/60 YF-19 to go on sale in April. They are releasing a 1/60 VF-1S Hikaru and Roy DYRL versions that include a display stand and have a 1/60 30th anniversary VF-1J on sale. Bandai has a 1/60 line for Macross Frontier.

I say both new GE number and the word renewal version labeled on the box plus the front box art is different (white background). Here are some other ones. GE-53 =YF-29 Alto, GE-56=VF-171 Alto, GE-58=YF-29 30th, GE-59=VF-171 CF, GE-61=YF-27w/super I know that they aren't renewals, I just listed whatever I could find in case people was wondering what the model numbers that are not renewals are.

That's pretty good. I just got a Max and Milia super set plus virgin road for around $650.

I'm pretty sure it's the same as the VF-25G Renewal version (V2) with different paint scheme and gun. They would have pointed out differences if it was different from the V2, Only one way to find out and that is wait till people get them and start posting their impressions.

My guess for the next one is either the vf-5000 star mirage or vb-3, though I do like the idea of a vf-0d. Back on topic, I like the blue tinted canopy vs clear. I guess I just have to wait till I see the YF-19 in person in its final form to decide if I like it or not.

Nice pics. I wonder how many transformation cycles that thing went through? Got some chips by the knee and intake covers in the pics. Hopefully tell let us know very soon when preorders start.

I hope that was the problem. My Alto has a broken small triangle so I thought it was for both models.

To bad they couldn't use a softer material that had more flex. I would sacrifice some visual accuracy for durability. I don't even know if it's possible 'cuz they would've done it already.

Got beat to punch by a minute. I don't think the v1 parts fit on the renewal versions. Some renewal parts are hard to find at a reasonable price. Just gotta be patient and keep looking when Mandarake updates. I've seen some cheap original parts on Mandarake. I use google translate to help since I don't know Japanese. Also, you can go to www.anymoon.com for reviews and references. It's created by someone from here. I think jenius is the member name on this site
