  1. Man, I really love looking at that SDF-1.
  2. Fresh from 'drake! Haha j/k!
  3. Cool! Very creative! I take it Robotech is popular there?
  4. Nice photos no3ljm! No such thing as amateurish shots here. Everyone's pics are all good!
  5. Maybe they can use the full-color-plastic pilot material and color match. That would be awesome if it worked. To lazy to read the design specs.
  6. I say if you really like it get the shoulder replacement on shapeways and replace it though it won't be the same color. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjHadh6lWdA. Does the VF-1D color match? Maybe you can hunt for a donor valk or assembly kit for an expensive option. If not, I'll be glad to take it off your hands .
  7. I don't think there was one for the CF color. If there was one, it flew under the radar over here pretty good. DId you see anything indicating a release?
  8. He means there is a thread about recent purchases. Which includes non Macross items. A couple threads down. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=40095
  9. Great Shot! Gives me great ideas! Now if I can just make what I picture in my head look like that it'd be awesome.
  10. Speaking of that. Wasn't trying for vertical reach. Just needed it to fine tune the height. Not for the faint of heart.
  11. Nice!
  12. You should definitely get the ghost set. I like the look of it loaded up like that.
  13. Thanks! Hopefully more folks show their stands in action soon. I like to see all the different poses.
  14. Did more testing of the stands. This time I used the VF-0 with ghost to see if it'll hold. Both bases are not fused to the base but hold the valks fine but in the 3rd pic the Valk on the right had the base attachment jutting up just a little but should be okay when I actually fuse it. It holds the VF-11 fine. Like it says in the instructions, use common sense and adjust for the center of gravity. I'm just experimenting to see how far I can go with these.
  15. They have other flavors there. I usually get the Green Tea flavored.
  16. Is that the Valk you was waiting for? Congrats! Man, you got a real good friend right there. My friends would just bring me back some kit kats and snacks.
  17. Did the OP find a solution for this? From his description I was assuming it was for a VF-0S since he mentioned ghost. Are the VF-1 and VF-0 shoulder parts compatible?
  18. Awesome product! Will definitely buy more in the future. Thank you for putting in all that time and effort into creating this. Well thought out parts list and instructions/warnings. Acrylic base attachments are loose but will just bond it together in the future. Holds valks just fine right now. Printed bases fit like a glove. Just got to test it with my SV-51 and VF-0S. Here's a couple of pics. Will post better pics when I learn how to use the camera.
  19. I'm not too sure but I think in forum rules it prohibits recasts without the property owners consent. As for the conversions, I have seen some around.
  20. You can try the what's it worth? thread in the collectors section. I would also try to look at the for sale section and see if there are current item listings that are similar to gauge a good asking price for here. I think on Ebay you can research the sold prices too. Good luck to you and your friend.
  21. B-b-but the leg in the twitpic matches the color of the lerx, even with the other blue pieces next to it. J/K! just bringing my assumptions and imagining things! Can't wait for the next photos.
  22. Haha! If not for that last thing at the end I thought you was serious. I like the blue on the leg in the pic.
  23. Welcome back to Macross collecting, where the love of valks do the talking and the wallets do the crying.
  24. I thought the live action movie was good for $24 million budget. Let's see what Hollywood can do with a $200 million budget. edit: I know what they can do with a $200 million budget. They made another battleship movie.
