I think the 1/100 Monster will be for those that bought the 1/100 bandai kits. It will be a great addition to a lot of people.

Since I'm already deep into 1/72 and 1/144 there's no plans for me to step into 1/100

Hey Captain, looking into the pic I'm glad that I'd acquired the Tomahawk you sculpted. I'd already pre-ordered the coming release from DAX. I believe i can skip the release from WAVE. From the left hand side of the pic it looks like it's a small part of the arm launcher of the Destroid Monster. From it's scale it's the 1/100 one.

Yeap, it should be scaled to the plastic kit. The website have the dimension of the decal sheet. You can enlarge the pic and see what it look like. -

Try http://samueldecal.com/ I'd bought their decal, it's printed on a whole sheet of clear decal paper. You'll have to cut out the decal yourself. -
May be I mixed up my memories I'll dig out my plans and take another look

It's not very big. From what I can remember it's around 330cm height. Not even as high as a Quea.

I was making the TV version power suit in 1/72 before I started my 1/72 ground vehicle builds. I only made some of the parts but they're all still very rough sculpts. Sorry no teaser pics and no progress to share because I'm doing full speed in the ground vehicles. I recall Captain shared that he might also interest in producing one. He don't have any schedule yet. We have to wait until he start a new build thread before what's his next project is

Well... the tractor need a layer of primer to do some final check on the surface details. It's almost finished and will be send to the caster and hope that he's able to make a mold for the tractor. The initial run will be 30 kits. I still thinking on including a navy drawbar and wheel chokes for the kit. There's no price range for the kit yet. I'm not going to start a new thread for this project yet. I'm hoping to share it with those who are following this thread. Anyone that's interested please let me know. Surface detail of the kit. Parts break down

Kremmen, I think you can ask Captain if he still have the Scout Regult for sale. I saw that he was selling some of his surplus kits. I'd finally able to grab most of his sculpts. -

I think it's because products of 1/48 and 1/60 are mainly toys. As for 1/72 it's scale models. I personally only buy 1/72 and 1/144 Macross models, 1/144 Gundam models. That's why I'm now trying to make 1/72 Macross ground vehicles available . Captain, I'd finished checking the Glaug. It's a finework of arts. Thank you for adding into the short list of reissue Regults. -

It's all because of John's selfless contribution of his time in making the models let us have the chance to grab what we have from him. Just look at the time that Wave need to develop the Tomahawk (still developing). I believe for the same quallity, it will be very very expensive. And the models that John sculpts are the ones that the market is very small. That's why the big brands in the modeling world never even plan to manufacture it. -

I think it's like an body building ordeal Having to mix, blend, lift, pour, pry..... all labor intensive. -
Another ground vehicle under development While onemore only progress till the wheel rim. Sorry for only giving all the teasers with no release date and price. I'll try to airbrush the electric vehicle this weekend with primer then touch with final detail before handing it to my friend for casting. Very busy at my work place right now.

Bandai 1/72 Scale Macross Frontier Model Kit Thread Ver.3
ahiachris replied to azrael's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Macross in not an area that Bandai is familiar with. Macross Mecha use more missiles and cannons than Gundam. While Gundam usually use laser rifles and laser saber. Their experience in manufacturing missile based machines is not that much.
