  1. Nice works. The 1/144 destriods did came with decals.
  2. I'm in for one too.
  3. payment for the 2 1/2500 & the 2 1/5000 salan scouts was sent
  4. The tractor and the electric vehicle are still waiting in queue at the caster
  5. When I am adding small detail parts of styrene I'll use modeling glue just to meld the plastic and use the melt plastic to bond directly to the resin. While I use super glue to bond the styrene onto the resin it was when I am doing remodelling work. I'll lightly sand both surfaces before bonding them together. Further progress on the VF-171. A lot of study on the artwork and screen captures made by members here. Here are the pics of the fuselage and the wing. Only half of the plane was modified to show the amount of modification was required on the kit to make it more accurate.
  6. HaHa. Why not just skip it??
  7. Another update on the VF-171. The modification was first made on the left side of the valkyrie so I can have some guide lines and give you guys on the rate of the modification. The left upper leg was almost done (engine intake) All white parts on the kit were modifications made with sheet styrene. When comparing the kit with the artworks I found that the lower legs were not long enough so I have to extend it by 10mm. You can all see the comparison at the second picture. The nozzles at the back of the lower leg part was also modified. Dry fit to some of the main parts of the valkyrie.
  8. Thanks for the information.
  9. I bought the 1/72 VF-171 fighter version and I'm building it right now. . The detail is not as accurate as the artwork and it didn't come with decals. But I got it at around 150USD.
  10. Got the VF-17 kit from the recent WF. After opening the box I'm already very satisfied with what I get. I'd decided to build this kit before Bandai roll out the injection version. This will be my first build on an WF kit. As I like to build things as close as what the original art work, I started to dig the limited artwork on this valkyrie. I'm lucky to be able to find all that were useful enough for me to refine this kit. Comparing the artwork I found out there are several places that need to work on. First the side of the fuselage area near the cockpit need to widen. I started to glue layers of styrene at the side then use a sharp chisel to carve the sharp. Flatten the nozzles at the nose cone and then carving the details. Widening the area near the wing with styrene and then carve out the details. Hope that I can be quick enough to finish this kit.
  11. Most of the ground vehicle I started are just watiting for the caster to start.
  12. Great to hear that they'll be available. I am interested in two sets

  14. One of my friend always attend WF and C3 to grab those hard to get items. I asked him to get the YF-19. I didn't know that there'll be a VF-171. When he called me to pick up my YF-19 today he showed me the VF-171. I was speechless and grab it too.
  15. I got my WF kits today. The price I paid is very reasonable too compared with the price listed at Yahoo JP Auction. I thought it's impossible to get them from the limited number of kits they can sell. 1/72 YF-19 Batteroid conversion 1/72 VF-171 VF-717 Nightmare Plus
  16. Saw it in Mong Kok yesterday selling 3xx

  19. Yeap it's very beautiful, I didn't know that there will be a VF-171 at the coming Wonderfestival. If I knew I would have ask my friend to get one for me. He'd already flew to Japan.
  20. Well WM Cheng is the only one that we know of finishing the launch arm. He will be the right person to share with us on whether the launch arm was sagging or not.
  21. I was stalking the site for two years too. Will check their site several times daily. It's the same thing whenever Captain announces his new release. I almost missed his release of the Glaug due to being too sleepy to wait for his confirmation.
  22. You can't find any buttons on John's projects. You have to keep on checking his updates on this item.
  23. Indeed. It ended up I'd bought over a dozen of F-14s in 1/72 and 1/48. I am now so tempted to get a VF-1 in 1/48
  24. I think I saw it at a certain department store in the kitchen section here It's a serving tray.
  25. As long as the item is still in the pre-order list it will be available. If it is no longer available it will not appear in the starship web store.
