  1. Adorable Ranka♥ i NEED to get her!!
  2. indeed, the vast majority of VCRs out there are completely forgettable, though there ARE several jewels out there, this being the crowning one; JVC HR-S8000U S-VHS (1988) the very best way to enjoy my VHS Anime collection, many titles of which are not available on DVD. and, in case you think i'm living completely in the video stone age; PIONEER DV-09 DVD PLAYER (1998)
  3. that's exactly what i intend to do. i'd sure love to get that Minmay doll, though...
  4. the "DOUBLE NUTS" looks good, but the original color 1/60 YF-19 is the only one i personally want, and the only one i'll ever need...
  5. -CURRENTLY OWN- *1/60 Ver.1 VF-1A HIKARU DYRL x1 *1/60 Ver.2 VF-1J HIKARU T.V. x1 *1/72 Ver.1 VF-11B x1 *1/48 Ver.1 DYRL HIKARU VF-1A & FOKKER VF-1S, 1 Ea. -PLANNED NEAR FUTURE PURCHASES, IN ORDER OF PERSONAL IMPORTANCE- *1/60 VF-11B *1/60 YF-19 *1/60 YF-21 *1/60 VF-1S FOKKER
  6. that's all well and good, as i myself prefer the state of the art YAMATOs the the classic chunkies, but, concerning Audiocassettes, will an IPOD ever have incredible High-Technology works of art like these as recording media?!?!
  7. indeed it does! i just got a 1/60 VF-1J T.V. Hikaru, and i should have it in a few days. it will be the start of my new 1/60 VF collection. in a month or two/three, i'll pick up the new VF-11B. from there, the priorities are the YF-19, YF-21, and PERHAPS a VF-1S fokker as well, to top things off. i figure my ultimate dream MACROSS collection will be complete by this time next summer...
  8. heh! i too am an early VF-11B adopter, and i've done the very same repairs/modifications with my copy!! i found the leg joint ratchets to tend to detent at the wrong angles, so i simply inverted them all, making the leg joints hold angles by tension, rather then by detent. allows for better lines in FIGHTER mode. i also screwed the shield into it's FIGHTER mode arm slot, so it no longer pops off, nor has to be removed and repositioned in transformation... ...still, this silly thing cant even hold a candle to the new version!! i GOT TO get me one!!!!
  9. native oregonian, born in Portland, Ore, and spent my childhood there, been stuck in the nowheresville hellhole Hermiston, Ore. area for the last fifteen years. currently residing in Umatilla, Ore, just outside of Hermiston. wanna go back to my hometown of Portland BAD. i got my very first taste of MACROSS up there, back in 1993/94, at a hobby shop called MILITARY CORNER/Bridgetown Hobbies. found a 1/100 ARII VF-IJ HIKARU GERWALK mode kit, and i instantly became a MACROSS fan, and, by extension, an Anime fan, all in the same day...
  10. WOW. are you gonna display her? please provide a pic when you do! BTW, how did you aquire her? how much did you pay? i doubt that i'll ever be able to get her myself, so i'll have to make a copy of her dress for my little Shaorin here: http://shaorin-chan.deviantart.com/art/Mis...oruru-109758316 in the mean, however, i'll have to be satisfied with this little songstress of mine: http://shaorin-chan.deviantart.com/art/Pri...nger-1-88262977
  11. agreed. imagining that face on minmay wouldn't be hard at all...
  12. you're right. she doesn't have the girlish cuteness that she should...
  13. i still love this Minmay doll, but at least i can now say that i finally have my soulmate, Lady Shao;
  14. oops?!?!
  15. thank you!!
  16. 1/1 scale? heh, i wish!! she's really only slightly taller than the mean average barbie size...
  17. that one's nice! not as much as the DYRL, IMO, but still VERY nice!! as an aside, i recently managed to win a loose 14" TSUKUDA HOBBY SAKURA TAISEN sakura shinguji for $17.00 off ebay. i made a complete set of lingerie for her, as T.H.s supplied panties and socks were poorly done. anyway, here is the result of a rather hard week's hurried effert...
  18. good work so far! i have had one of those TOYNAMI stick bernard variable legioss' since 2004. the damned thing has been nothing but a problem since. fragile as all hell! what's more, the flip open panel with the sensor array directly aft of the cockpit broke!! i paid $60.00 for a variable replica that in reality amounts to little more than an especially fragile plastic model!!
  19. heya! i'm from the united states... lady shaorin rules! ....although my first crush was princess ayeka...
  20. heyya! i'll be needing a new head and heatshield for my 1/48 VF-1S...
  21. yeah, not too long ago i decided that the stock playmates paintjob just didint cover it. so i went about fixing a few minor details, and before i knew it, three days had passed and i wound up detailing the living daylights out of it! i also cut the engine pylons and extended them out as they were much too short...
  22. MACROSS II was good. MACROSS 7, however, is BLASPHEMY.
  23. yes, this is the BEST VIDEO release, identical to my copy.(my cover is in excellent shape, as i got mine new, though) this would seem to be the latest and as yet final U.S. release and yes, this one's unedited, too
