Cool...But I'll hold off at getting all fired up until there is more information on this Regult. I don't want to be disappointed by Yamato again. Tread lightly until then.

The 1/3000 scale is 33% smaller than the 1/2000 scale. If the 1/2000 version is around $2000, should the 1/3000 scale at least cost 33% less? But that still means the 1/3000 scale will have to be less than $1333. But this price is just an extrapolation. I expect it to be around $500 or 50,000yen.

I like the idea of having Bandai re-issuing the old Imai Macross kits, hopefully the 1/72 Zentradi Tactical and Commander Pods. But I wish Bandai would do Perfect Grade Macross kits, like the Gundam kits, that fit perfectly with highly detailed parts and decals.

This looks like a pretty big item at 1/100 scale. I hope it is well made with no weak joints. Even though I would like to have one, I will wait until some reviews come out to determine if it is worth it.

Just finished the first season of Darker than Black. It was interesting to a certain degree but the show never really got into how those Hell's Gate came to be or what happened to anyone who left the planet's surface. There were lots of things left unexplained. I'll catch the second season to see if the mysteries are going to be explained.

Thanks. I built it straight out of the box without paintiing it. I only touched up some areas with paint.

Took a break from building Macross kits. Just finished the 1/60 Perfect Grade Gundam 00. The two GN Drives actually light up and rotate slowly and then to full speed when activated. Pretty cool gimmick. Now I just need to complete the GN 0 Raiser so it can attach to the Gundam to form Gundam 00 Raiser. A 1/60 VF-1 was added in for size comparison.

I was just watching Death Note (Light killing people with heart attacks) when I read about Carl Macek dying from a heart attack. That gave me the creeps. However, I hope Carl and his family find peace at this difficult time.

Started watching Death Note. Light is one dark character, more so than Lelouch in Code Geass.

I will be a bit more careful building these Perfect Grade kits so as not to snap in half any small pieces. I have already broke a couple of leg and ankle joints in a couple of VF-25 kits.

Going to start building this monster kit, 1/60 Gundam 00 Raiser. The size of the box is about as big as the ones use for shipping desktop computers. The kit comes with a display stand boxed seperately. This will take a while...

If there is a new series, hopefully it takes place with the new generation of surface dwellers. Maybe Simon and Nia can be teamed up again.

Finished watching Gurren Lagann. I would say it is good, because it did not have the usual ending. The story was interesting too with the Spiral Being versus Anti-Spiral Being. Too bad Yoko's kiss is more deadlier than a pineapple salad.

Yoko is totally fan service in Gurren Lagann. And she sure can snipe like Lockon Stratus.

Correct, I meant the Japanese voice actor could be the same for Ali Al Saachez, Holland and Sven. As for Crispin Freeman, I think he was the voice of Orange in Code Geass as well in the english dubbed version.

I almost quit watching Eureka Seven after 5 episodes because Renton was so pathetic and whinny. But I am glad I continued to watch it to the end and the movie version as well. Renton's development takes time in the show. Eureka seems cold at first but she changes as well. It is a really good series since Renton always came through for Eureka. BTW, I just started watching Gurren Lagann. It's funny that the Gunman mecha name is almost a reference to Gundam.

Finished watching Crest of the Stars. It's actually enjoyable so I like it. Jinto and Lefiel's relationship reminds me of Eureka Seven's Renton and Eureka's. Jinto's voice sounds like Renton's now that I think about it. Moving on to it's sequel, Banner of the Stars.
