    Finished watching the last episode(#26) of Claymore. Wow. Really good story. Great tense action. Kind of bloody but not too gory. This is totally worth your time. The character Raki did remind me of Saji Crossroad(from Gundam 00). A young man that wants to join in on the fight for a reason but finally brings sanity to the situation without conflict. Come to think of it...Clare kind of looks like Louise Halevy(also from Gundam 00 Second Season). Both girls went overboard for revenge for the death of loved ones. Alright, on to a lighter tone anime, Vandread.

    The metallic blue is Tamiya TS-19. This blue is close to colors for the the BGC Tokyo 2040 Priss hardsuit. I would apply a base coat of Model Master stainless steel next time to give it a more metallic and lighter finish which is closer to the original Priss hardsuit from the first Bubblegum Crisis series.

    Here's Priss Asagiri's hardsuit from Bubblegum Crisis by Aoshima at 1/12 scale. The kit is pretty close to the anime proportions. The 1/15 Yamato figure is for comparison.(Yamato's coloring is a bit greener and more metallic) Note: This kit is fairly challenging to finish correctly due to the way Aoshima had the arms and legs attached. There is no way to assemble each limb first and attach them at the end. Everything has to be assembled at once so it is a pain painting and masking the different areas. Next is her red Motoroid motorcycle.

    One more interesting note on Highschool of the Dead... The voice of Saya Takagi's mother(Yuriko) should be familiar to anyone who has seen Bubblegum Crisis(original version). If she sounds like Sylia Stingray, that's because they are voiced by the same actress, Yoshiko Sakakibara. I was waiting for Saya's mom to breakout the Knight Sabers' Hardsuit.

    Just finished Highschool of the Dead. Pretty darn good series. Kohta Hirano, the dude with the glass, is the embodiment of Lockon Stratos...haha. He can snipe anything with a gun. But I wish there was more than 12 epsiodes. Season Two??

    The two characters from Highschool of the Dead(Takashi and Busujima) reminds me of the characters Kazuki Muto and the female Hayasaka twin from Busou Renkin.

    Just finished watching Eve no Jikan. It deals with the relationship between humans and androids(not smartphone type) in the future, similar to Chobits but with more ethical thought. No action, but mostly drama and thought provoking situations. However, it is quite enjoyable.

    The shape looks a bit busy for my taste. The sleeker VF-25 design seems better. Again, it is a matter of opinion.

    Just finished the first season of Black Lagoon. Somehow, Revy sounds like Klan Klan(Macronized version). Could it be the same voice actress?

    I just started watching this series a few weeks ago and am already at Episode 20 of the 1st season. This is pretty awesome, hot chicks with permanent PMS and guns. Revy has that crazy element which make this all the better. Rock seems so reserve, like Renton from Eureka 7. Each epsidoe is a bag of TNT and never a dull moment. Somehow the Black Lagoon setting reminds me of Macross Zero.

    I would probably get this kit since it would complete my 1/72 Destroid line, not counting the 1/160 Monster.

    Maybe this time, they'll have squadrons of rogue ghost fighters(drones) to deal with being controlled by enemy forces or an AI system. This sequel is not such a good idea, like Ben Stiller making Zoolander 2.

    That VF-171 kit looks nice EXO. Great job on the 1/60 figures!
